Days Inn by Wyndham Silver Spring

Staff went into my room even when I had the do not disturb sign on the door handle. I went to take a shower and had no hot water. I went up to the front desk and informed them and they told me they knew about because it's been out and needed to buy a new boiler. I was told I could go to another room to shower and then go back to my room. (Why not move me rooms then??) Overall, worst hotel stay ever -1/10

I booked a 5-night stay (July 3–8) in a two-bed, non-smoking room, but was given a room with a heavy, persistent cigarette smoke odor. The single-bed alternative offered on night one smelled even worse, and on subsequent days, no other two-bed non-smoking rooms were available. Sleeping in this environment for five nights severely triggered my chronic rhinitis, causing physical illness throughout my trip. Although management promised an air-cleansing treatment, it was never fulfilled. Key Issues: • Housekeeping Neglect: Our room went completely unserviced for the first three nights. I had to speak directly to a housekeeper to obtain clean linens because front desk requests were ignored. • Equipment & Communication Failures: The room keycard failed almost daily. Furthermore, after my initial room complaint, the front desk stopped answering the in-room telephone on three separate occasions, forcing me to walk to the lobby for every inquiry. • Substandard Amenities: The advertised breakfast was completely empty at least 30 minutes before closing, and the coffee was essentially brownish water. • Staff Conduct: On my final night, the clerk on duty mockingly laughed about my country's World Cup exit, which was completely unprofessional. While one clerk politely offered a spray bottle for the odor, the overall stay was defined by unfulfilled promises, health discomfort, and poor service. Look elsewhere.

It was cool.

The laminate floor was filthy and stained. The thermostat on the wall did not function, the TV remote did not work to turn on or change channels, the fridge was not turned on and the dial knob was missing; so no way to test if it actually functioned. Bathroom was filthy and moldy. No tissues, only toilet paper; and last but not least there was an ice bucket and liner but no ice machine anywhere in sight, and I walked the entire property. 10/10 would never stay again!

Terrible service

Huge roaches . No AC . We got our money back and left.

Walked in realized we didn't belong there out in the open drug deals non- quests hanging in the walkways and stairs

I called to ask about the hot water no one answers the phone . It's is cheaper for a reason I guess.would not recommend or stay again.

Gross rooms, plumbing problems, sewage backed up into shower, rude staff, fitness room hasn’t likely been open for month, breakfast was a joke. Ran out before 8 and didn’t restock the donuts and muffins. Staff responded with “sorry bro”. Moved us to a smoking room after the sewage issue. Horrible experience. Sleep on a park bench first.

Not a safe place. Run do not stay here.I had one night here and slept with one eye open. I was so glad to leave.

Breakfast is subpar and there are no shuttles to the airport

The room was not properly maintained. There was different color paint in spots where there had been water damage or repairs. The TV barely worked- very fuzzy and only a couple of channels. The breakfast set up had two sad corn muffins and a dirty coffee machine. In the middle of the night we were woken up because there was blasting music and then people screaming. It was a place to stay for one night but I don’t think that I will go back to a Days Inn after this experience.

Check in was easy. Parking easy. Room had a sink thar wouldnt drain, door had a gap between it and the frame and the beds the floor may have been more comfortable they where as hard as a rock. Plus is it had a fridge and microwave.

I like the location which was close to the train and the staff was friendly

My biggest complaint was that the Internet was out during my entire stay. The signal is so weak it is useless. They will claim they have Internet, but it is not strong enough to use. I was in town to lobby for my Non Profit and not having Internet access really messed up my preparation for my meetings on Capitol Hill.
