DISASTER I have been hilton Honors for >25 years.

Pros: (1) the staff was SO FRIENDLY and helpful all the time, absolutely all the time (2) the bed was heavenly (3) AC worked perfectly and kept me very cool in 100+ heat (4) super quiet, no noise at least in my room (5) I personally enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much (and their staff was great also) but might be high for a family on a budget ($22ish (plus tip) per person. Bonus: If you are good shape or don't mind a tiny Uber ride ($10ish), Silver Spring Station (Red Line) is only 1/2 mile away (reasonably safe walk even at midnight), and from there you can get immediately to Union Station (15 minutes) with AMTRAK, in the heart of the city or anywhere else within DC about a total of 20-25 minutes (maybe with a super easy transfer). I am from NYC, and DC's Metro System is amazing. However, I did mistime the trains once (they shut down around midnight be careful and check) and it was only through the Grace of God I was able to find a city cab to take me back ($40-45 plus tip) bc Uber, that particular night, wouldn't fetch me for some reason. Also: During July 4th, I scored a room for only $137 night plus tax. Great deal for the service and somewhat higher endish feel.

Good neighborhood. Staff personable and very helpful. Underground parking for cars. Starbucks right in hotel

Staff and cleanliness were excellent. The only issues I had was the AC in my room did not function. I discovered later other people had the same issue. Ive never had a compliant about any Hilton stay, so this was disappointing. The staff was very apologetic and I don't blame them. The hotel should spend a bit more to improve the climate control. Other that I had a good time.

I love the location. It's next to a lot of great restaurants, stores, and activities. It's also close to a Metro stop. The hours for the hotel restaurant and bar are not ideal. It closes at 9pm. The bar should at least be open to 10pm or 11pm.

You really took my money, even though I left early. Was gone by 10:30am and had already paid for that day and the next. Not only did you NOT give any refund, you actually charged me an additional $50. Really..? Theives

Delightfully surprised by the hotel, room, view, amenities and shower, having just returned from a long stint in the UK. Charming staff too!

Everything was good in general, except for the AC in the room. it was ancient and very loud. like it woke me up in the night kind of loud. I kept the room warmer than I usually would because I really didn't want the AC to kick in.

The hotel was very nice. However, I do not recommend paying more for the city view. Our city room view on the 15th floor had a small window and it faced another building. In addition, the a/c wouldn’t cool the room lower than 71 degrees, the body soap pump was empty, and they only provided one k-cup. Otherwise everything was good and the location was convenient.

Very bad experience. Not going back there

I was bitten all over my arms and legs just from sitting in the lobby trying to get checked in. My room was sub par for the expensive price. The bathroom wall had a hole in it dirt in the corners, shower was old and in kept. No exhaust fan was in the bathroom so it was extremely hot and no real air flow. For what they charge the room simply didn’t measure up. The staff was ok. They were friendly and somewhat accommodating. 4/10 do not recommend

Not that good!!!

Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly.
-
I loved the cleanliness of accommodations, the staff were friendly, I wish they offered complimentary breakfast and an earlier check in.
-
excellent location with lots of ammenities.

The restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. However, I felt that the food prices were a bit higher than expected for the quality and portions offered. The room was clean for the most part and comfortable during my stay. The only issue I encountered was in the bathroom, where I noticed some hair that appeared to have been missed during cleaning. I also appreciated having access to the gym during my stay. It was clean, well-maintained, and a nice amenity to have available. My biggest complaint was the parking cost, which was extremely expensive and added a significant amount to the overall stay. Despite a few minor issues, the friendly staff, convenient amenities, and efficient service made for a generally positive experience

Having Starbucks on site was awesome. It made for a quick and easy breakfast option for my family and I. The pool was great. Loved the rooftop feature. However, the hours were terrible. It was 11 AM to 8 PM. We were generally out of the hotel well before 11 AM to go do stuff. By the time, we would get back to the hotel, the pool was either closed or closing within minutes of our arrival. Otherwise, the hotel itself was very clean and spacious. The staff did an amazing job with ensuring the beds were made, trash removed, and towels replaced. We also liked the lobby areas that the hotel had. It was nice to meet other friends locally in the lobby too. The metro was nearby so it made going into DC very easy! Would definitely consider staying here again!
