Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls Downtown

It is not a Hilton Inn garden anymore. It is being rebranded as the Catlin.

A lot of road construction in area made it a little tricky to get to, also they are rebranding to Catlin so they didn’t have a “Hilton Garden Inn” sign which got me confused. Hotel itself was as expected, nice restaurant inside

Everything!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I know they are maybe in the process of renovating but the only places I saw any updates was the lobby bar and restaurant area and the 5th floor. It’s a nice hotel but some of the furniture in the rooms showed a lot of wear and tear. An option of a less expensive or free breakfast would be nice. The price we paid was outrageous for what we had available to us. Over all due to the area it is in and the cleanliness of the premises I would give 3 out of 5 stars.

Loved it! Mad we only had one day

Hotel is very dated. Furniture and carpets were worn and damaged. Poor lighting - most switches didn’t work - and there are no outlets for charging devices (a basic necessity for travelers). No bathroom fan and shower head didn’t work well. One elevator had a known issue that wouldn’t let guests access their room floor, and both elevators were very hot/stuffy and felt unsafe. Parking in the main lot is limited, and the hidden underground lot is not well marked - staff did not mention it as an option at check-in despite numerous cars parked illegally in the over-full main lot. They also didn’t have the room type that was reserved and paid for in advance.

This hotel was very modern and clean. We were extremely happy with the room. The beds were comfortable. The staff member at check-in was very helpful and quick. We would definitely stay here again.

Currently undergoing a re-branding so we had a little trouble locating it, but once we did all was good. Sioux Falls is a great town with a lot going on. The hotel was in a great location so we walked to all the best places.

Nice older hotel that has been renovated. Good location near downtown with good views. No complementary breakfast but a Starbucks is located in the hotel. Staff members were helpful. Parking is adequate and free.

Hotel was great...location was grat and the outdoor bar was fantastic. Only issue was only one elevator was working so we had to wait longer than normal to get to our room.

The location was fine. Breakfast was NOT provided yet when I made my reservation I did expect it to be. Dingy rooms. Stains on some of the chairs. Dingy comforters, the box of soap on the bathroom counter was empty. I understand they will be going under remodeling, yet, given my experience I feel I paid way too much for this stay. The menu's in the restaurant, Crave, were smudged, dirty. ugh. My salad was good. The pasta ordered at our table was below expectation and not worth the price. I had called the front desk disconnected several times... Just not a great experience this time.

Awesome location near shopping, restaurants, and the river walk! Highly recommend!
