Great location, price is fair. Only issue was the bathroom sliding door. Its extremely difficult to slide and the kids were unable to use it themselves..

The staff are helpful and kind

I really loved the hotel and the staff. It was clean. The only disappointment was you have to buy breakfast. It was not included. But the hotel was beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was gorgeous.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day of driving. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout our visit. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to downtown attractions and restaurants. We especially appreciated the unique character of the hotel—it was a refreshing change from the typical chain hotels. Overall, Hotel Phillips was an excellent stop on our journey, and we would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Kansas City. Highly recommended!

Great hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was nice and we had a good view of the river. I really enjoyed the drinks and food downstairs in the restaurant. Parking in the neighborhood is a pain so I valet parked. The valet parking is very reasonably priced.

5/5 Hotel, staff and location. Perfect location for a downtown stay as it’s an easy walk pretty much everywhere downtown. Plenty of quality restaurants 2-3 blocks away, Leavitt at the Falls is about a 10 minute walk and the Falls are only 15-20 minutes walk away. Room was excellent and very clean. Beds very comfortable.

Wonderful experience - staff was professional and friendly. Perfect location if your activities include the downtown area. Lots to see and do! Will definitely stay again!

It was a very nice hotel and clean but at night it was extremely loud from the outside noise since you were so close to downtown

The street noise was awful! Kept us up all night. Then the phone rang at 6:30am and woke us all up for a wake up call that we did not ask for. Otherwise a nice, fun hotel.

I just wanna give a shout out to the front desk lady and also the gentleman helping with parking on 9 August 1, 2026. The gentleman helping with parking was so kind and made a fabulous first impression and got me the best parking spot around. Then when we had a small uncontrollable issue in our room with the AC lady at the front desk was very helpful on helping us get situated in a new room. To top it off the treasury bar had amazing food and drinks. This was my first time staying here and if I’m ever in downtown Sioux Falls, I will be picking this location again.

Every aspect of the hotel was excellent.

The only complaint I have is there was a lot of traffic noise. Cars racing, screeching tires and loud tailpipes. The cops need to take control of that.

Great location in Sioux Falls, right along the river and walking distance to everything downtown. The hotel is very unique and we'll maintained. The room was excellent!
