Uptown Suites Extended Stay Nashville TN – Smyrna

The staff at the front were behind nice and the location was great with stores all around. This “hotel”has extended stays so there are people that are living here. At night we heard their dogs running phones vibrating and the televisions. They only clean your room once a week and our day was Tuesday. We checked in on Wednesday and left Monday.

The location is excellent--easily access to the highway and an abundance of stores and restaurants nearby. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and in a safe location. I highly recommend Uptown Suites and will likely start there again when traveling to Nashville. N/A

During our entire stay, housekeeping never came to our room, not once. We were never offered fresh towels, our trash was never emptied, and we were only given one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay. When we asked for more, we were told they were out, so we had to go buy our own. The room did not include basic amenities like shampoo or soap, which meant we had to purchase those as well. The common areas were also disappointing. The front desk area frequently smelled strongly of marijuana, and the elevators were dirty and had an unpleasant odor, making the property feel poorly maintained. To make matters worse, we needed to check out one day early. Expedia instructed us to contact the hotel directly for the change. We left a voicemail, called several more times, and no one answered or returned our calls. When we finally reached someone, we were simply told they could not issue a refund for the unused night. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, missing basic amenities, and inability to reach the front desk made this a frustrating stay. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

This hotels is geared for "long term" stays. In the week I was there, I meet many residents that have been there for months even years. ( all very nice) With that being said, the hotel has very strict rules and are Very rigid.. not in the business of hospitalityl. I booked my stay for one week (Tuesday til Tuesday..) If you stay a week or longer, you get 1 cleaning day assigned to you. No problem there, since I keep things very tidy. however after the 4th day I wanted to exchange our 2 bath towels for new ones. I was told I have to wash my own, and that you get new towels ONLY on your assigned cleaning day . Mine was the day before we were to depart.. no sense there. Even after explaining to them that my husband had surgery and trying to keep things "sanitized" and clean as possible. Didn't matter, rules were rules. Asking for an extra pillow so he could be propped up, was answered with, let me ask my manager.. instead of oh sure no problem( I did get a pillow). Check out time is 11 not 12 as stated on their website. One of the many reasons I booked this hotel was because of the later checkout time since I had a late afternoon flight. I found this out by asking if we could have a late check out around 1:00 /1:30. Being told that check out is at 11 and she was aware that the website says 12.. (other complaints from guests.) I asked how much the fee was since my husband was recovering from surgery thought it would be worth it. However was told $ 30 but had to be out by 12. An hour for $30 and out by the time that was advertised. RIDICULOUS. . The morning of our departure the manager sent someone up to our room to make sure we were checking out by 11:00. Really wow! If you only took that much care in other aspects!! CHANGE THE TIME ON YOUR WEBSITE ESPECIALLY SINCE IT'S A KNOWN PROBLEM Also, yes there is a kitchenette for you to prepare food, but beware there is nothing to cook with, not one pan, or pot.

No help at desk

Close to my job and the room was nice The eight police cars that had the place surrounded i work nights and someone trying to cook forgot to turn off their food so the fire alarm woke me up out my sleep The front desk person seems to never be at the front desk. So when I checked out at 11:15pm Friday I couldn't cancel the following night. I called them three times left voicemail for a return call. Never received. I have to say the person who checked me in was very nice she did try to make sure my stay was comfortable

Rooms very clean and roomy The wrong coffee was given for the small machine we had to buy a coffee pot and the hot water quit in the shower and kitchen sink And not enough towels

They always overbooking

Very nice, helpful front desk staff. Good location. Good laundry facilities. Surfaces in room were filthy and obviously had not been wiped down in weeks or even months. Previous guest's body hairs in/on bathtub. Very old, pilled sheets on bed. Stained bed spread. Bath towels rough and thin. Multiple ants on counters. Bathroom door frame in disrepair.

Service at night was poor. One of my packages got taken or lost

The bed was terrible. The towels were paper thin. There wasn't even a toaster or a skillet to make breakfast.

The young woman that checked me in was amazing. Any issues or concerns that I may have had, she handled it with perfection and promptness. No quarters for laundry facility

Room. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet and bath very clean. There was some peeling paint on door in bathroom.. No problem just marred the overall feel of the place.
