Nice hotel, clean rooms , clean swimming pool

Breakfast was good but could have been better. The staff was amazing and glad I was able to bring some breakfast back to my room to feed my kids without any hassle.

We booked two rooms with two king beds in each room 4 school age children and three adults found the rooms spacious. It is almost a two and a half block walk to the beach. It was doable but we found taking the car to drop off coolers/ tarp to the White Sands Beach access worked best. There is a plastic walkway from the road to over 100 ft to help bring rolling umbrella and cooler part of the way onto the beach. Beach was clean. Unfortunately redflag warning prevented kids from going out too far. The Boogie Boards were a hit that we purchased for $12 each. Some of the gift shops (plenty nearby had higher prices). Has adequate pool area with nice tables. Has garden hose available to wash beach shoes and toys which was nice.

The space was clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. The 3 min. walk to the beach, chef's kiss. I truly enjoyed my time here with my grands and mom!

The room was clean, staff was helpful, breakfast was great, and parking was easy. The hotel was in a great location.

Although the hotel is very close to the beach, definitely would be more than a 5 min walk since you can’t cut through the back. There are gated private properties in the back of the hotel, so you would need to walk around through the front to get to the back streets towards beach access. It’s a 5 min drive though to the first beach access so no big deal. Maybe if it’s just adults or teenagers, and minimal things (not too hot)…walking to the beach from the hotel is do-able. We paid $189 per night (mid June/Tues-Thurs), which is more than I wanted, but $20 cheaper anywhere else would be taking a chance of either a run down older hotel or mold rooms. I have no regrets staying at this HI Express in SPI.

Great breakfast. The customer service was superb. It is a quick walk to the beach. We will definitely stay again!

The staff happily provided us with the extra towels and cleaning we requested. The parking was decent, and they have electric vehicle charging stations. They have a trail you can take from the hotel to the beach, it’s not a private path but easier than going around the entire block. The pool was great and it’s shaded in the afternoon.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The beach was about a 5 min walk. Very doable. It was a clear path and paved all the way to the Access point and then the water was very close. The access is close to a big peer where bar Louie is and provides tons of shade of wanted. Bar Louie, Clayton and Barry's bar are next to the Access point and short walks from each other. Ice machines on every floor are clean and easy to use. Breakfast was included and it was the best complementary breakfast at a hotel I've had. Will definitely be staying there again.

Breakfast was good but no bacon just sausage! The location was good and the pool was great. Room was clean and ac worked great. The rest room was kind of poor. The curtain rod hung low do to screws coming loose from wall. The water faucet in shower had a lot to be desired and amenities in shower lacked oomph. Like the body soap was watered down.

On our first morning, the breakfast buffet had very limited options available. It appeared to be a busy morning, and my husband was only able to grab a few items before staff closed the doors. Later that day, we kindly requested housekeeping service, including extra towels and clean bed sheets. When we returned, the beds had simply been made, but no clean sheets were provided and no extra towels were left. We were looking forward to relaxing and showering after a long day, so this was frustrating. The following day, we left early specifically to allow time for our room to be cleaned, but housekeeping never serviced the room. Once again, we had to go to the front desk ourselves to obtain clean towels. We had to go get toilet paper refill. Had to take trash out of our own room. The breakfast buffet continued to be disappointing throughout our stay. On one morning, most items—including eggs, bacon, and bread—were empty. Although there was still about an hour remaining before breakfast ended, the staff member responsible for refilling the buffet did not make any effort to replenish the food. It felt as though guests were being encouraged to leave rather than enjoy the breakfast that was included with their stay. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not return to this property or recommend it to others.

All was great and I'm an IHG member but because I booked with Expedia I was not given the advertised 500 points for not having room service × 2 days plus no points for my 18-22 Jun 26 stay.
