Service was great. Wonderful hotel.

Excellent checking

The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. We did do an early checkout because the power to the hotel kept going off. The first time didn’t stay off very long but the second stay awhile. We wasn’t for if they were working on something or what the issue was. No one was able to tell us anything. Everyone was rushing around the hotel. So we packed up and left. The breakfast was really good. The beach view from our room was okay. We didn’t really have to much to complain about other than the last night we were up there and there was some kids running the hallway banging on the doors and screaming. It was very unpleasant. Had to call the front desk. It did seem like it took awhile to get that calmed down but it finally stopped.

The building is old. Air conditioning was loud, room was cleaned but no towels were left. The water pressure is low and pictures of the pool on the website is not accurate. It’s small and cloudy. No way were we getting in it. Pros were location if you like live music and the complimentary breakfast wasn’t bad. I wound only stay here again if MAJOR renovations were done 5/10.

I used to stay at this location when La Quinta owned it and unfortunately it has changed. There was a line at check-in, which was expected, it was a holiday. The staff member that checked me in was friendly. Got to our room and the door wouldn't shut all the way even after it was locked. The room look old and outdated. My daughter pulled out the sofa bed and it was dirty. Also there was no sheets/blankets for the sofa bed. All of the vending machines are gone, and the "store" downstairs in the lobby closes at a certain hour, Inconvenient for those who need or want something late and do not want to go out. Make sure you pack drinks/snacks unless you plan on driving/walking to the nearest store at night. Water pressure in the sinks/showers suck! Went to ask for quarters for the washer/dryer, person at the front desk didn't know if they had quarters??? Only decent food at Breakfast was the mini waffles. All of the juices tasted water down. I used to love this hotel and the location but I will not be back. Not worth the money you pay.

Breakfast was good. Dint like first floor ther no privacy on balcony.

The ocean view was beautiful, and we had an excellent view of the fireworks from our room. That was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, with pubic hair left in the shower, the bathroom floor needed cleaning, the ceiling fan did not work, and the bathroom light flickered throughout our stay. The staff was not helpful when we brought up concerns, and housekeeping was inconsistent—we barely had our room cleaned during our stay. We’ve stayed here several times before, and it’s unfortunate to see how much this hotel has gone downhill since our previous visits. The location and view are still wonderful, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service have noticeably declined.

The breakfast was very good and the beds were comfortable. Our room had TV issues every day and we had to have maintenance to come and reset it. I liked the fact that the hotel allows pets for an extra $25 a night. Although I did not have my pet there, we did not see any issues at all. I would probably stay there again if the price is right. The rates were inflated for the holiday weekend. I could book the same type room for the next weekend and get it at least $400 cheaper.

The beach bar does not have happy hour despite getting text messages for it. You can walk from one hotel to the next via the beach. The hot breakfast provided was very good. It had with many options. My room was spacious. The outside pool was rather small.

No shower gel or shampoo in the dispensers. Parking is very limited. It’s difficult to leave hotel because you might not find a parking spot when you return.
-
Cleaning Staff were amazing but the front desk busy and slow to help.
-
Lovely beach view from Room 240 easy access to beach right next to the party at Clayton’s beach bar.
-
Our stay was amazing and we were super close to everything and the beach was easy to access

The staff was not helpful. There were electrical issues so no hot breakfast one morning . The pool was very dirty. There was a roach in the hallway and the beds were very uncomfortable. I also received text messages about happy hour and staff said that was old info and that menu in rooms needed to be updated. We stayed here previously and had a great time, unfortunately this time it was very bad experience.

My wife and l went on Thursday 4th of July weekend , first of all they are now charging to park , the swimming pool water was very dirty and last of the breakfast was so disappointing their famous omelet section was closed due to no electricity at the kitchen there was only scrambled eggs and beans 😳 no meat !!! As for the waffles they would make mini ones and they weren't any!! Their was only one staff member available so she was backed up worst experience ever ..

The pool was filthy, cloudy, and overcrowded every day during our stay. Even in the morning, when no one was using it, there was a film floating on the surface, and the water was still very cloudy. Parking was also a challenge. We often had to park across the street or avoid leaving the property if we wanted to keep a decent parking spot.

Nothing, honestly. Would never return back to this resort.
