Hotel Focus SFO

The room (sheets and towels) were clean and the bed was comfortable, but the room had not had a deep clean in a while. The plug in the bathtub did not work and so we were unable to take a bath. There had been some minor repairs attempted, but done in a slipshod manner. The corridors were pretty dirty and did not look as if they had been vacuumed in quite a while. Overall, we just needed a place to sleep near the airport and it satisfied that need.

Very kind staff, helpful and friendly. Kept our bags for several hours so we could grab lunch before check-in. Clean rooms, soft beds, small but very nice bathroom. The airport shuttle driver was super friendly, and the breakfast had nice options.

Room keycard had to be activated twice; even on my first use after riding elevator up to 3rd floor. Room was clean, but the rest of the hotel including the lobby and furniture in lobby needed cleaning and upholstery cleaned. Minimal selections for breakfast - all breads, rolls, muffins, precooked waffles; no yogurt. Did have 2 cold cereal options. Airport shuttle was fine; just remember to sign up at front desk.

Breakfast needs more then just some waffles, some eggs and sausage makes it alit better

I did not like that I was charged more than what it originally said on line and they charged for parking. For each day smh. Unbelievable. No other hotels that I’ve stayed at did that ever and there were a few ants and some kind of insect that jumped o. My hand

Rooms are clean and good location to Dennys and other restaurants

They charge me for parking. The parking wasn’t free and the room too small and the bed so small. Doesn’t fit two people

Need to fix the AC unit in room 323 also allow to open the window for fresh air. TV not functional and also better breakfast

Poor

The gentleman behind the counter was very rude! He did not explain himself well and was rude on the telephone. The breakfast was a very poor selection of prepackaged danishes and the only fruit offered was a banana. The kitchen staff were extremely nice as were the cleaning crew. All the people that worked there were very nice and very helpful with the exception of the gentleman behind the counter who was a large heavy set light complected Hispanic with a skinny mustache and curly hair. The room was not up-to-date at all. The tables were scratched up the bathroom and the pillow cases had ants, and the carpet in the hallway was dirty! I would not stay here ever again!

Hotel was not in a great location, was old and run down, and it was actually a bit scary to be inside. My card key did not work initially, the one elevator did not light up, the bath towels were missing in the bathroom, and the shower head was coming out of the wall.

Bad

The room has some ants. The breakfast was not as one can expected, is coffee, waffles, bread, banana, cheese cream. WiFi intermittent. Parking $18 per day. Price was okay for what you paid for. Ubicación was great. Ladies of the front desk and room services were nice.
