Rodeway Inn South San Francisco Airport

The room had no extra blankets, was probably turned in the dark. It was good for the price and I parked my car there for no extra fee. You can get to the airport crazy easy by bus line 292 at the Four Points Sheraton literally next door. Also next door: Popeyes and Dunkin’. Seems to be a lot of tradesmen staying here and also some dudes digging through the garbage. I don’t know what that is about. The staff was fine. The stay was fine. It served its purpose and I would stay again.

Room was clean and some nice updates have been done, so it was better than expected. Bed was comfortable. Shower/bath combo, but no plug for bathtub so no bath. No bedside lights, so have a flashlight or phone at hand. Basic and ok for one night.

The room had so many flies. I had to keep killing them on the wall. There was also crumbs near the pillows which means they did not change the bed sheets. Absolutely disgusting!!!

They charged me my deposit for having my period

The location was great I didn’t like that there was a sewage stench coming from the bathroom and there were drain flies all over the walls of the room as well as slugs in the bathroom and in my son’s bed. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and the woman said she didn’t understand what I was saying, even though I was literally holding one of the slugs on a paper towel roll right in front of her. The lady at the front desk likes to argue rather than find a solution to complaints, she even wanted to cancel my reservation because I complained to her. I had to bring my daughter to the ER at 2am because the room was so dusty, she woke up with an uncontrollable cough and was crying out that she couldn’t breathe.

I like that the room was initially clean until they changed us to a different room that was very dusty and had more outdated amenities/structure Dusty, obviously not as taken care of like the first room we were in

Easy Access Nothing

Front desk (lady) receptionist was very rude. Got there maybe 30 mins before 3pm to see if I could check in. She looked at me like I was disturbing her and said no check-ins before 3. I walked up at 3pm and no one was at front desk to check me in. Waited about 15 mins before a gentleman checked me in. (He was nice). I noticed there wasn’t and iron or ironing board in room, so I went back to ask for it and the lady was at desk. (Again) she looked at me like I was bothering her. She started looking through some papers saying she has to document it. I asked her if I can just get them and I’ll bring it back, she said no and started looking for another room on 2nd floor to move me. I politely declined and she looked at me like I was being difficult.

The cleanliness.

There was homeless and people doing drugs in front of the hotel. A lot of doors were open from random people coming in and out of them that didn’t stay there obviously the pictures I felt like we AI the rooms looked totally different. They were really smelly dirty holes on the walls different covers. There was a door that went to nowhere that was locked. We had no idea where it went to. We asked the staff member in the front that this looks nothing like with the ad said he said that that’s our fault that we shouldn’t believe everything we see. I couldn’t believe that I would not recommend this place to anybody. I definitely will send someone over there for other people safety really bad environment.

Very basic but clean

Clean, safe, and close to a some food options. Quick ride to airport.

Although this is not a fancy or upscale hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It is close to the airport. Unfortunately no shuttle. But a reasonably low price Uber ride to the airport.

The air conditioning wasn’t working good

Its well maintained and the front desk tried to accomodate my request.

We needed a place to spend the night before flying home. It fit the bill. Close to rental car return. Clean adequate room. Check in was smooth. Beds were fine. Plenty of parking.
