I traveled with 2 of my senior dogs, and this place is awesome! My new favorite SF area stay!

I wanted to love this room. I can tell they are doing work on the property and the rooms are recently updated. The issues I had were that there was no hot water in the shower and the couch, table and chair had some sort of food product on it (so was not cleaned carefully). The bed and restrooms were clean however. I am unsure why they feel the need to charge for parking but I assume it is because they can. Parking is a lower rate than anywhere else around. Overall, my stay was good. I probably will return.

However, there are no microwaves in rooms & the one near the lobby was not working. Room had a big wet spot on the carpet upon arrival.

I only stayed for a couple of hours, and when I got into the bathtub, there was a huge spider in there.

Whole building including the room smells like cigarettes.

We've stayed at the Sonesta 5 or 6 times. It is a nice, modern, well-decorated place with friendly front-desk staff. Convenient to San Francisco, it is 3 minute drive to freeway, or take a Lyft the 1.5 miles to the Caltrain Station. Cheaper than driving and parking. They've got a small kitchen serving light breakfast, and there's a Starbucks and a couple of small restaurants nearby. Great value for the money.

I travel with my 3 dogs and a cat. I always bring a vacuum with me because of all the pet hair. I vacuumed my room when I first arrived and could not believe the amount of debris, dust and human hair my vacuum picked up, it was filthy. I took what was collected in a plastic bag and went down to the hotel lobby to show an employee at the check-in desk what my vacuum had collected, the woman behind the looked stunned at whatbwas in the plastic bag. I also mentioned to the woman behind the desk that my toilet wobbled each time I used it which, was annoying. I appreciated the trails and walking paths near the hotel as it made walking my dogs easy and convenient. 2 locked entry doors randomly worked using my hotel room card. . .sometimes the doors would open and sometimes they wouldn't, yet another annoying thing. I purchased a snack at the restaurant downstairs but didn't have my wallet and asked if I could charge it to my room and the gentleman behind the bar explained that the restaurant/bar side was not affiliated with the hotel so I had to go up to my room to get my wallet to purchase the snack, yet again, another annoying thing.

Quite clean and good. Tesla charge station is nearby.

I love staying here when in the bay area. Its close to everything but feels quiet and out of the fray. I love the walking path along the canal and that parking is reasonable

Nice clean place to stay near the SFO. Parking is a problem if you come later in the night. It shares the parking lot with 2 other hotels and the parking space fills up fast.
