Quality Inn Southaven - Memphis South

This is a hotel that allows smoking. They covered up smoke of cigs and/or something else with strong scent. Yet told us it was a smoke free room.

Sadly we had to climb stairs because they didn’t have any rooms down stairs. That was hard but it was one night.

Not very clean, the shower faucets were loose, couldn't control the temperature in the room.

CONS: the staff misled me about booking two rooms together. Before I booked the rooms, I called the hotel to confirm they could accommodate my request for the 2 booked rooms together be conjoined or next door to each other. The staff said they would accommodate my request, however, the 2 rooms I booked were 18 doors apart! When I spoke with the manager, he said there was nothing he could do as the hotel was booked to capacity, even though I booked both rooms a week in advance. The TVs in both rooms were inoperable, no one could figure out how to fix them, the manager promised to move us to rooms with working TVs, however, that never happened. Door didn’t fully close. There were a lot of men hanging outside of the hotel rooms smoking and playing loud music into the night. The beds are hard and the only hot option for breakfast was self made waffles. The manager was unaccommodating to the issues mentioned above and for that, the overall customer service was unsatisfactory. Also, there is an $100 accidental fee that had to be paid at check-in per room, not per booking. Overall, I would not stay at this motel styled hotel again as there are better options in Southaven with better food options surrounding their properties.

Great service

The bathroom was dirty had black dirt mold or something as well as the baseboard the bathroom handle was broken. I did let them know when they sent me a text on how the room is and they said they had no other rooms and if we wanted to leave they would give us a full refund however we had checked in put our suitcase in the room ran to the store got dinner and then noticed the bathroom so it was late 8ish and we had been flying since 5am so we just stayed.

The room and bathroom was very decent. Could hear TV in the next room, noisy. I didn't prefer breakfast. Also some guests were hanging outside to often for my liking.

Nice room and quiet area.

Hotel had roaches crawling through out the day. Not sure if it was because of the Crack underneath the door allowing them to come in

The room was clean except for a very strong smoke smell. Not sure if it used to to be a smoking room or what was going on.

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.

My plans for future visits to the Memphis area will include Quilty Inn Southaven. Overall cleanliness was excellent including rooms, lobby area, and breakfast section. I will give the staff an A+.

Good place to stay only nine minutes from the airport!

Everything was good

Clean and safe. Easy to get to. The room smelled like cigarette smoke but like they were trying to to cover it. It also smelled musty.
