Red Roof Inn Southfield

Went there and told me all rooms were booked even though I have a reservation.

Rooms are really nice and prices really good

Site showed room with 2 king beds which doesn’t exist at that hotel at night the elevator was down and I had to get my handicapped parents up 3 flights of stairs There were ants everywhere a bunch of little ants you can’t leave anything out

The manager said he was going to keep my deposit because I state I didn’t trust him and his staff. I’m now waiting on an investigation from a dispute. He has a major problem with women. I’m not a regular. I never stayed at that establishment.

The room itself was clean but there was a kitchenette with out any dishes, silverware, soap etc. The elevator didn’t work. I had to climb the stairs to the third floor and the back door didn’t lock. Anyone could walk in. It was also a smell in the hallways.

No continental breakfast as advertised. Elevator was down the first day. Trash and broke down cars in lot. Unclean sheets. Inconaiatently available front desk staff to address needs.

Everything is perfect

Staff were fine There was God knows what I’m the walls and it smelled of smoke which got into my clothes

You get what you pay for! On the outside the Red Roof Inn looks good but on the inside it lacks basics. Big room, but no where to put luggage except on the floor. My TV remote didn’t work and the replacement lacked a way to access the channel guide. No in room coffee and if you’re up before nine you probably won’t find it in the lobby.

Enjoyed staying here with my family

I book here a lot, the rooms are always clean .

Staff and Manager were really good and helpful

Dirty sheets on bed, remote didn't work for tv, people running up down hall all night

It was overall pretty cool. I slept great both nights. I wish they had the free breakfast like most hotels for the money that you pay, but again overall its good. Clean and well maintained.

The room smell of smoking, bathroom smells like Marijuana. It was terrible smell.

The electric did not work on the bathroom so I could not straighten my hair no power in the outlets even outside the bathroom door near thier

The heat/air conditioner worked perfectly No water bottle in room, no cups. No soap at sink. No shampoo. Tub for standing in shower was very slippery with no anti-slip mat. Urine stains in floor tile at toilet. Repair in bathroom wall unpainted. Room smelled. One with with screen didn't open. One window without screen did open. Tv remote didn't work properly and did not match tv. Parking lot lines were freshly painted but lit needed to be repaved. This motel is servicing many unhoused clients which is fine, however, motel customers need not feel like we are being treated as undesirables

It was in an excellent location and it was very clean . The staff at front desk was rude. Didn't get the room I ordered ? and there were no clean towels for the house keeping to give us. She said dry off with face towels. Staff at front desk had an attitude . Rude , not friendly and didn't care that I didn't get the room I ordered. Did not stay the whole time. I left Sunday
