Baymont by Wyndham Spearfish

The room was clean. The bathroom light above the sink/mirror did not work. And what was once a heat lamp in the bathroom was replaced with a ceiling light. We had to turn the timer button on for the light. The knobs for the air conditioning unit were missing so we could not adjust it. The unit ran continuously ALL night. There was no manager on duty to complain to after we checked in or when we checked out. The manager will not call you back. My number was left on 2 separate occasions and I did not get a call back.

A great stay

Our pillows didn’t have any pillowcases and then the bed sheets had some things on and in them. Along with that the bathroom door didn’t shut and the room had a musty smell to it. But the staff was great and overall was an ok stay for the price.

Was a good hotel to stay at. Of course there was a price surge but it was during Sturgis so to be expected. Older hotel but clean. Beds are very comfortable

The room and bathroom was dirty and outdated. There was stains on the walls, bathtub, and shower. The towels also were stained.

We had booked two rooms, the one room was fine but the other room there was no plug-ins within reach so there was no Refrigerator, Microwave, the latch lock was broke, had to ask 3 times for the ground cup for the coffee machine. This was all in room 111. Felt sorry for the staff, my impression was they were under staffed and not trained well.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, and nice staff.

The bath tub drain was plugged and the indoor pool was permanently out of order.

Key had to be replaced ed 3 times in 2 days, short on towels and when asked for towels I got the 5th degree about why I needed towels. Lol. No pool or hot tub. Breakfast is decent. Overall id stay again.

The property is very run down. The room smelled like it hadn’t been used for a long time. There was blood stains on the sheets. Breakfast was very limited. Staff was very helpful.

I opened the fridge to see if there was a bottle of water in there. There wasn't, but there was food from the previous guest. Yuck!

The entire facility looks very worn. I needed a new room within 15 minutes of checking in because the toilet was clogged. My second room was not stocked with soap and the coffee machine was missing a part. I went down to the front desk to ask for soap. The woman working had a friend standing there. She never interrupted her conversation with her friend while getting the soap. The coffee in the breakfast room was lukewarm at best. I will not be staying there again.

Everything was adequate. Your parking lot was a little tight to drive around.

Nice room with great breakfast

This hotel is run down, outdated and in ill repair. The bathtub was peeling and looked dirty, there was texture sprayed all over the back of the tub. The linens were old on the bed and pilled up. Can’t believe baymont would allow their name in this place.

Outdated amenities. Dirty room- hair on bed sheets and hair trimmings around sink. Pool is permanently closed. Mini fridge and bath tub faucet didn’t work.

We checked in on the first night and dropped off our suitcases and the stench we encountered as we opened the door was so bad! We had been traveling and needed to use the restroom and toilet would not flush! We had to meet up family and we went on our way! We got back later that evening and would still not flush! I went down to the front desk the next morning and no one is at the front desk! So I asked the food person if someone was going to be at the front desk and she gave a name! I said well I need to speak to someone about my room! I went to stand at the front desk counter! She came around and asked me what I needed! I said my toilet will not go down! She asked which room I told her! We had family to meet up with as we had a memorial to attend! Thinking it would be fixed when we got back later that evening! The shock we got when we walked in and nothing had been done! Towels still on the floor and the toilet still full! I went down and asked the man at the front desk if they intended to fix it! He was so helpful! He asked if he could put us in another room! Went to make sure everything was good! Next room was actually very clean and yes the water worked and the toilet flushed! We didn’t like the continental breakfast! The variety was sparse!
