Best Western Route 66 Rail Haven

Room was super clean and nice. It has been maintained very well. Breakfast was hot and ready. Everything worked good and our stay was great. Very affordable and a landmark hotel since 1938. A peice of history for route 66.

Better pillows would be nice, but overall it was fine

Nice place. Older but it’s historic for a Route 66 stay. The theme rooms are really fun, Elvis, Marilyn, Wild Bill. Great location, nice staff, pool, clean, basic hotel breakfast but good, easy to hop on Route 66 and travel the mother road.

The room was clean, staff was kind and efficient, breakfast was great, and overall the stay was wonderful. Just ask that maybe filters be changed in the AC boxes lol it was a sinus issue after turning them on otherwise a gem for a historic property!

Great ambiance. Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet. Decent breakfast. The beds and pillows were not comfortable.

One of the few truly handicapped accessible units that we have ever stayed at. Parking at the door, shower completely accessible, no tub that they can't get over. Employes were friendly and everything was clean. Nice breakfast but very small dining area. Right on Route 66 with all the flair!

Location and cleanliness. AC sound was too loud.

We had an okay stay. Room was in need of some updating. Had air conditioning issues on a couple of hot days. After a couple trips to the office we finally got it rectified. Could have gone better but in the end they took care of the issue. Have a couple of police officers in family. Cautioned going out after dark on foot in this area.

I loved the vintage vibes- rooms were super clean and staff was friendly. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we needed for our stay There was a lot of road noise- didn’t bother us but light sleepers might not like it (they do have earplugs in the office if needed)

It’s a Cool and historic motel

The room was clean but small. Lot's of racing from 2am to 4am across the street in the parking lot.

The room, however, is in need of some help. The ceiling needs repair, the thermostat on the wall does not do a good job controlling the a/c, I had to continually turn it on and off to regular the output. The floor boards are disgustingly dirty, as are the bed skirts, which appear to be as old as the hotel. Flooring is separating and starting to bow. But I will say the bathroom appeared to be clean. But, it is my opinion that they either use way too much cleaner or don’t dilute it properly because the room smelled unbearably strong of cleaning product.
