There was hair on the wall of the shower when we arrived. Very minimal outlets to use. No microwave in room. It said breakfast available, but it’s buy only unless it’s Saturday or Sunday.
-
The place was very outdated the carpet at holes in the floor. There was a water stain on the ceiling. There was a crack in the tile in the bathroom..

I've stayed here a few times before and will continue

Great hotel that is close to the University, our bathroom was not very clean and the faucet made a whistling sound. Guy looked at it and we had to make sure we had the faucet at a certain angle so the noise would not happen, The air flow is not very good in the rooms. But it is very close to the University which is nice and convenient.

Hotel seemed a little dirty to us, and there was no body wash in the shower. It was empty. Had to wait for the girl to return to the coffee shop in the morning just little things.

We had a nice clean room with a cold fridge. The location was great for close proximity to Springfield Cardinals and Missouri State campus. We used the indoor pool and it was great! Next time we will have to try out the outdoor pool! The convenience store was great for drinks and snacks so we didnt need to go to the store. Will stay again!!

The only bad comment about this place was probably the inside pool it was really gross

Place was amazing, with good staff vary friendly. Room was big and nice with an awesome view.

The hotel is starting to show its age. Some of the carpets, doors, and fixtures could use updating, and the older wall A/C units just don't cool very well. I actually brought a fan both times to help circulate the air. When I asked to switch rooms because of the A/C, the staff took care of it right away with no hassle. Also, there's only one bank of elevators for the whole eight-story hotel, so it can be a pretty long walk depending on where your room is. One other thing to know is that the sink is outside the bathroom. Overall, it's a solid place to stay with great staff and a convenient location. A few updates would make it even better.

Location is great you can walk to the ballfield

I liked the proximity to the baseball stadium

Large clean room. Centrally located. Great price.
-
Great location and an indoor and outdoor pool.

When I finally got into my room, it was dirty. The shower was visibly dirty. It still had hair in it from the previous person and the tub was black in the bottom. I was put on the 1st floor and was told that I had to go to floor 5 just for ice. The cafe downstairs was laughable as well. No one worked there, so you couldn’t order or even get a coffee in a timely manner. I will NEVER stay there again.

Shower was cracked, and hot water I thought would never come on but did after running after a long while. Did not use ammenties but restaurant, bar, coffee place was closed the first night. We got there due to low bookings. They also had no maintenance or room service for extra pillows. For the price it was okay. Reminded me of business hotels I would be booked in for work … but not updated or fixed from 15-20 years ago. AC is fixed but not great on 6th floor as others mentioned. Sadly not sure this hotel will survive with other options as appears it used to be great. Also, we were charged for parking in an empty parking lot. Odd and not transparent at check in. Front counter were nice and the Peets coffee girls were really nice & helpful when we went in there.

Honestly was the worst because A/C went out. All box fans to help keep cool were already gone by the time I checked in.
-
I tried cancelling for hours Sunday morning and could not get the virtual chat or other options to cancel.
-
I do not recommend staying here because of added charges.
-
Very poor service. No ac in the hotel on 90 degree plus days. Not a good look for an internatiinal confrence.

The front desk staff told me when I checked in that the air conditioning had been fixed and the room should cool down in an hour or so. I dropped my bags in the room, set the temp to 65, and went to the bar. 2 hours later I went back to my room and the room temp had not changed...hot. at this point it was late, I could not go any where else, so I suffered in the hot un air conditioned room all night. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain and tell them the staff had lied. I expected a huge discount or free stay. All they offered me was 20 % off. seriously 20% that is an insult. I learned my lesson with this hotel....dont trust them.
