Moxy Springfield Downtown

Good place for 30 something people. Stayed on July 4 to see the fireworks from top floor bar, great view. Loud music, at least I think it was music. Good drinks but pricey. They shouldn't let anyone over 50 stay there ( we are in our 70s). Parking $15 was a surprise. Not worth the money for me.

From the amazing, friendly staff to the clean, comfortable room to the adorable decor and amazing bar, we had the best time. I would even go so far to say best hotel I've ever stayed in. Will definitely be back!

Pretty cool place

Fun place to stay! Only didnt give 5 stars because the rooftop bar. Only 1 bartender and 1 server and extremely crowded and tables werent able to be cleaned properly. Staff did what they could considering. Definitely need to schedule more especially when it's a Saturday night with events going on around town.

Just needs a working Manager on site.

Rooftop bar was excellent. Shower bit fully functional.

Room and furnishings were well kept, high noise level from neighboring occupants 😬

The front desk staff always very friendly and helpful! Love all of the bartending staff…morning and evening staff! Food quality is always excellent! Roof top is beautiful!

Comfortable, convenient, decor, check in Charge for parking

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms need a chair, microwave and refrigerator.

Great hotel with rooftop bar. Unique stay. Food was very good.

Decor was nice. Clean. Not crazy about the choice of lobby/bar music or the parking fee. Location was perfect.

Its very nice for a one night stay. Very retro and pleasant. My daughter and grand daughter was pleasantly pleased. They have been emailing an searching for the sent you use there. so pleasant and fresh. Didn't have the breakfast, I had chicken tacos and needless to say didn't finish them, the beds were a little hard slept a little close to my guests. didn't get the room I paid for, I paid for city view and got 2nd floor looking at parking lot and and air conditioning unit. Nowhere to put clothes but on bed, had to sit on bed, it had one stool. It was too small for me.

Im not sure that anyone wants to hear this but it has to be said. Overall the Moxy was well cared for and clean. Yet when I lifted the pillow there was an extra member in our room. Yes, it was dead and yes I did bring i to their attention. My only request was to please have the room double checked and linens changed. Left for graduation only to come back to find that it hadnt been done but the staff was in the hallway so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it would be taken care of before we get back from our afternoon out. Got home at 830pm and it was not dealt with and of course the cleaning staff was gone. Never again and we go to Springfield often since our son is there. The beds are horrible. My husband and I didnt sleep well and he woke up with hip and back pain. There is nowhere to sit other than your bed. You can hear everything that goes on in the rooms next to you. So if you are looking for a romantic place avoid this place like the plague. Coffee is fabulous and didn't try the food.

We didn’t get breakfast because we did not realize that there was an opportunity to do that. Nobody explained how that process worked. We did ask about it at check-in and then she forgot to explain. We noticed that there was nothing in the room that identified it so we just didn’t order any and we went to a restaurant around the corner. Which was a little frustrating because I did pick this hotel with the idea that we could get breakfast in the morning. The second thing that was just a little frustrating was we came into a new hotel new room and the faucet to the shower continually fell off luckily you were able to push it back in to get the water to turn on, but it continually would fall off out of the wall, making a very loud clinking noise. I did tell the staff when I checked out, but they didn’t seem to really care. I have pictures of it and plan to leave a longer review on the website for the cost of the hotel and all the amenities that said it provided I was kind of a little unhappy with a few of the things that were listed. I also do not like the $15 additional parking fee. I feel like that should be absolutely listed on the website so that you know what you’re up against. It sure felt like the front desk person was slipping that in without getting an opportunity to say no. Again little frustration with this.
