The staff was so kind and caring, it made our 5 day stay even better! If you put the address in Google, it will take you to the back side of the building. Also, if you came from out of state and need a quick meal on the first night - just walk across the street to the Fondry. Enjoy!

    Everything was wonderful

Clean room but front desk manager ruled unprofessional! Also we couldn’t utilize the roof top bar, the hotel was charging $30.00. I think it’s a shame to do this to the guest at the hotel. Where are you staying when they had only one bar in the whole entire hotel they had no other entertainment and they wanted us to pay. I think that was very pity, unprofessional low class.

    clean and nice

At checkout I thought we were all good, but they overcharged me $200. When I got home and realized the mistake, I called to try to resolve it. I have made over a dozen phone call to the hotel and it met with hang ups, waits that eventually hang up, incompetent employees who say they will look into it and never call back. It’s almost impressive how awful they have been. AWFUL! Do not even risk it, if you have a problem you will not find help. Stay somewhere else.

This property is a great place with 1 exception: there was no hand soap for the bathroom. I requested some from the front desk and dish soap was sent up. I explained that I needed hand soap and was told they did not have any. I asked the ladies cleaning the rooms in the morning and received the same answer. It seems to me that a hotel of this caliber and expense could afford to have hand soap available. The breakfast staff, the valet staff, and the front desk staff were great. Acts 4:12

The location of the hotel was pretty decent to a lot of places located around that you can eat at, with a few locations for entertainment purposes. Most of them were all within walking distance of the hotel. What I didn't like during my stay was that some not all of the staff were a little bit on the rude side, the site advertised free wifi, but you had to sign up for their membership, also if you apply through a site like booking.com they will still charge you their room rates per night even after you have already paid for the room ahead of time.

It was an awesome stay! Everyone was so friendly and clean. I wish the pool wasn't so cold though.

Clean room, good breakfast, open and spacious lobby and outdoor shared spaces. The room was missing hand soap and parking was expensive but otherwise good experience overall.

Decent enough hotel but we likely will not stay again or recommend to others. Self-parking was more than Valet Parking, which is the opposite of what we've experienced everywhere else. Valet is a service and should require an upcharge. if used Instead, this hotel makes you pay $12 more just because you want to park your own car. When using self-park, the lot is behind the hotel in retail parking and we were told to use the backdoor, which was very difficult to find as it was an unmarked grey door like other retail doors. After walking around aimlessly, another guest saw us with our bags and told us where to go. Our room was clean but the body soap pump in the shower didn't work. We had no hand soap in the bathroom and the bulb in the floor lamp was burnt out. Our thermostat was blinking low battery the whole time so we were afraid it would quit working but that didn't happen during our stay. It just felt like the previous cleaning and walk-through was likely rushed. Breakfast would have been good but there is only one cook making sausage, eggs and pancakes to order. A larger family ordered right ahead of us as we were leaving and the cook told them it would be awhile so we didn't even bother. We left and got something while we were on the road. Overall, it did the job and we had a bed to stay in. Just not worth a recommendation to family and friends.

Arrived with a purchase through bookings.com when checking in was told 28$ per day or 40$ per day depending on vallet or parking in the back of the building. The front end associate said the hold on the card was for 50$ they charged a hold for almost 300$ even though I paid in full for the night on booking.com. ( this is still pending 24 hours later ) when going to the room to check it out before getting my father who cannot walk long... we discovered it had a full sized bed and a queen size bed as well as 1 little chair. For 6 people? In a suite... I was expressed to even though on booking it said 2 queen sized beds and 1 couch was in the room... the manager said that we couldnt be accommodated for the people that its only 4 people to a room and that bookings should never of went through with the sale.. that Marriott did away with couchs and that only some rooms have a couch ( well you would think being some rooms have one we would of had the room with a couch since thats what was booked on there site),but this wasnt the case. On top of that we were told to book a second room rather than being accommodated with a room with a couch for our family to fit and was expressed to that the rooms had queens when they very well didnt. There was a queen and a full, very noticeable size difference. We were on a budget so a second room for almost 300 wasnt something affordable for us. Long story short we were told we have to contact bookings.com to get a refund while standing in the building I called them. They sent an email over to the hotel and the front desk associate told me after going to the back to speak with im assuming the manager that they recieved the email and were going to cancel by submitting the cancelation on there end in a reply to booking.com...

During breakfast the woman cooking the breakfast was rude and seemed bothered when asked about the breakfast options.

The room was very spacious and the hotel is in a good location. Parking was very expensive and valet was mandatory and took forever.

This stay was so amazing! This is the first family vacation we have taken since our daughter has been born and traveling with kids can be nerve wrecking let alone the stress of finding a good hotel. I am in the hotel industry and both me and my husband are pretty picky when it comes to hotels. This hotel got a raving review from my husband who stated and I quote "I think they won me over, that will be the hotel we stay at every time that we come." The hotel is immaculate, there were no issues with our room at all, the valet staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well as the front office manager that greeted us as soon as we entered the building. The breakfast really was outstanding. They had a spinach frittata with salsa and pancakes with blueberries available along with fresh fruit and multiple other continental breakfast buffet items! My favorite was the Chobani station where I got to create my own yogurt bowl! The only complaint I have for the entire stay was that the pool was not heated and so my littles could not stay in longer than 15 minutes. My husband couldn't stand to stay in at all. That was pretty disappointing because we had planned to stay in that during our time at the hotel, but of course we also went to the zoo and the science center so our time was not wasted! Not counting this against the property because it is truly amazing, if anything I am speaking to the Marriot brand asking them to install a heater in the pool. Beyond that the property is so perfect.
