Bathroom was very worn and the bath tub was rusty and in terrible need of new caulk and grout. Perfect location and very convenient parking. All things considered it was good value but the hotel is in bad need of an update.

The room I stayed in air conditioning was COLD!!! Fortunately I was able to adjust the thermostat which helped alot. I was disappointed that there was no extra blanket in the closet but being able to adjust the temperature made it OK.

Amenities were poor, no water in room, no coffee. Handicapped shower, we didn’t want or need.

The location was great, but they overbooked and did not have our selected room available when we arrived. They said that because we booked third party that our desired room wasn’t guaranteed. We made it work and the room was clean, but the toiletries in the shower were empty.

The room was overall very clean. The staff had taken some time to fulfill some requests, though otherwise was very responsive.

My only frustration is that when I first arrived, I waited 15 minutes to be able to enter the building from the hospital side even though the staff said they would send someone. Fortunately, some other guests finally came along and we followed them into the hotel. Overall, the hotel was very clean. The property was a little bit worn but not too bad. Other than the first frustration, the staff was excellent and very helpful. Really liked the front desk guy on Monday evening! He put a smile on our faces.

Easy check in and friendly staff.

Clean room clean lobby staff was polite air barley worked and parking was a extra 15 dollars on top of the 300 something I paid for 1 night stay
-
Room was very run down. Breakfast was minimal and the lobby was under construction. Parking was tricky and there seemed to be limited staff. I would not stay here again.
-
Hotel was nice and quiet. Linens and bedding were very nice and comfortable. Check in and out were easy. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was good. Right next door the the Siteman Cancer center which was very convenient

We had a mixed experience here. They often had computer issues that interfered with their ability to assign rooms and make keys. At first we were given a dirty room (dog hair, dog pee, hair in the sink, leaking bathtub, etc.). They didn't have another room of the type that we had paid for so we were temporarily put in a different room for one night and then reassigned the next night. (The second room only had scalding hot water in the shower -- no ability to turn it colder.) The men at the front desk were friendly but often seemed to leave everything to be dealt with by the more competent female staff. We were ultimately put in a room next to a young family that kept us up until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning with their noise. (So it's definitely less noise-proof than other hotels.) The breakfast was pretty good but would mostly run out by 9:30, even though it was supposed to go until 10:00. Again, when we'd ask male staff about getting a refill or even silverware, they'd say they'd take care of it and wouldn't. We'd then ask a female worker, and she would actually follow through. We liked that they had a little "convenience store" in the hotel with some good food options. There is also an Applebee's connected to the hotel that was a good dinner option. (Just check your bank account afterward -- the wait staff changed our tip amount!) If you need access to the hospital next door, this could be a good option for proximity. Just definitely keep your expectations lower than usual.

Parking was conveinsnt
-
Very close to CWE and adjacent to Barnes Jewish Hospital
-
Clean, good location
-
The shower would only work on full hot water if you tried to turn it down to some colder water it would barely come out of the shower head. The refrigerator would not get cold enough to keep drinks cold.
-
Doubletree has always been a favorite place to stay. I won't judge other Doubletree hotels by this one but will definitely be more careful.
