This is one of my favorite places to stay in STL. It is affordable, with helpful welcoming staff, and its own locked parking garage behind the hotel. It is convenient to the SLU campus and Central West End. If you aware a family or budget traveler looking for accommodations for this location, I highly recommend this hotel!

One of the beds had a broken support board under it & mattress was dipped down in the middle. About to collapse at any moment. Shower curtain smelled like it was soured. Room was so small fridge could not be opened/closed w/o dragging against corner of bed. In order to access the right side of the same bed you had to climb over it because the microwave/fridge cabinet was crammed in so tight. There was a remote for the lights but the batteries were dead. Could not find TV remote, finally had to pull bedside table out & found it behind that. Neither of the 2 usb ports worked at all. There were 2 black head hairs in one of the beds. I got bit by a spider the first night & ended up on antibiotics. Finally, when I advised the front desk of all of this they did say sorry but absolutely nothing else. I will definitely not stay here again and I am a frequent traveler to St. Louis. I picked this spot based on reviews, not sure how they were listed as good as they were.

Breakfast was great, bed and room great! I did not like that I had to pay for parking! If I am paying to stay at your facility parking should be free!

Overall the hotel and rooms are a good option.

The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. The staff were very helpful in explaining all the codes that were used instead of keys. There was a secure parking garage with a small charge per night. There was a huge kitchen area where you could cook your own food equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, etc. I would stay here again when visiting St. Louis.

The modern vibe The beds were smaller then advertised

Hot tub was out of order. Shower is very small. At check in a hold for the deposit and night was charged. On check out I was charged again for the night. If the charges were separate there should have been one for the night and one for the deposit. Not the total (deposit and room) AND the night separately.

Clean room. Good mattress support. No fruits in breakfast nook.

Staff were extremely helpful and nice. There was a weird smell in the hallway and in our bathroom. Seems to be a lot of things that need some maintenance (floors and walls have some issues, our door didn't sit right in the doorframe, etc). Just got unlucky that the hot tub was not working during our visit, the woman at the desk told us this is the first time that has happened and they're waiting on a part. The area is okay, there's a couple places within a 2 minute walk that have everything you need. We took transit while we were there and we didn't have any trouble, there's a bus stop right outside. We had to text them a couple of times for more towels, toilet paper, etc but they were super helpful. It was a little weird we had to find the storage ourselves in the middle of the night, we had no idea where to look so we went to the wrong place a couple times before we found toilet paper lol. All in all, good for the price and really nice people.

In 2026, having a window A/C unit that completely blocks the window is disappointing. There’s no way to open the window for fresh air, and the A/C blows directly onto the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep without freezing. It’s also incredibly loud - we genuinely thought it was raining and thundering every time it turned on. The shower is so tiny that it’s difficult to even turn around. The room lighting is also terrible. Unless you turn on the bathroom light and all three bedside lamps, you can barely see anything. Charging devices was frustrating because there were almost no usable outlets. The USB charging ports built into the bedside lamps didn’t work at all. Several basic amenities were also unusable. The iron was basically non-functional, the water was dripping from it and it didn’t even heat up properly. The ironing board was unusually small, and there was barely any space to set it up. The toilet also didn’t drain properly. Every time we flushed it, the water would rise to the point where it looked like it was about to overflow before it finally drained. It was both strange and concerning. The hotel also advertises a hot tub as one of its amenities, but it was closed during our stay. We weren’t informed of this before booking, and if we had known, we likely would have chosen a different hotel. Finally, the bed is extremely high off the ground. Families with young children should be aware that a fall could easily result in an injury. To be fair, the room was clean, but cleanliness alone doesn’t make up for how outdated and inconvenient the overall experience was. The price was nowhere near justified by the value we received. In my opinion, the room felt worth about half of what we paid.

Clean and tidy with a fresh and very welcoming atmosphere. The hot tub was a major expectation for our trip and it was not mentioned prior that it was down.

It’s tucked away and it’s secluded. The text messages to get code for access to property and room

Hard to get into after hours. Bath door would not close tightly. Shower floor was soft & spongy in some areas. Was shocked to find out about $15.00 parking charge per day!!
