An absolutely acceptable place to stay in STL if you're looking for affordability, a safe area, and convenience for access to the city. The pictures DO make it look a bit nicer than it is, but it's still an a ok place to stay. Would definitely stay again if the need called for it.

A good hotel close to the park (zoo). The room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Parking in the secure garage was convinient.

Clean rooms, nice amenities, friendly staff great stay for a fair price.

It was actually done really well. We found it to be very clean! The beds were harder and a little squeaky. Made it difficult to sleep with multiple people in the room (as I was traveling with my children). Also, because all the carpeting been replaced with hard flooring, even in the hallway, you could hear someone walking down the hallway from quite a long way away. It didn't do a whole lot to soundproof anything. So overall, my biggest complaint was, it was noisy. Not with loud guests, but because of the hard flooring everywhere, poor insulation. The air conditioner was sufficient, but made strange noises. Also, to be entirely honest, I would've loved to lower it a couple more degrees. But there was a sign saying it couldn't go below 70° or it would freeze up. So that was a little warm for me for sleeping. Overall, not a bad stay. But we were only there one night and I feel like I would not have enjoyed it at all if it had been along trip.

Great location in the city and close to lots of great food and things to do. Parking was safe and secure with a gate code. Entire place was clean. Touch less entry into rooms was a great touch. We checked in late at night and got a little turned around, the worker at the front desk came out and got us. Elevator is in central location near parking lot and front door. All staff were so nice. Air conditioning was in window unit which was a little loud so bring earplugs if light sleeper but kept room nice and cool. There’s a vending machine for snacks and beverages in the main lobby with an ice machine in the gym and community kitchen. Has central fridge, oven, stove, pots and pans, coffee machine and hot water. Will definitely be staying here again if we come back to st Louis!

Traveled with my spouse and the kids for a long weekend. The area is safe, the parking garage is great. Staff very friendly. Room is economy but well-appointed. Only complaint is the size of the fridge as it was more a beverage fridge size so we couldn't really fit leftovers in it.

Check in takes some time because you have to fill out online forms; they are mandatory. The property is nice enough and the staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was Spartan but clean and fairly quiet. The location is convenient though in a borderline neighborhood . Parking in their facility is a must, and fortunately we were offered free parking as our room upgrade.

I was raised that if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t speak. But, I would not recommend staying here. And the only reason I’m not going to elaborate is out of respect for the manager, she was very pleasant and tried to accommodate.

Good and comfortable place to stay

Perfect gem of the city.

Yep, I dont see any possible reason that someone would want to stay anywhere else in the area.

Nice lighted patio outside.

We arrived late for check in. There was no one to check in with. Had to check in over the phone. Had to ask for our room number and code to enter. There were no instructions for parking. The person on the phone was not on site. There was no one available to help. We had to call again when we left to be able to exit the parking garage.

This place was super cute and the staff was amazing. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Loud all night, first floor smelled very strongly of marijuana, hot tub was locked up. No cable TV.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in STL. It is affordable, with helpful welcoming staff, and its own locked parking garage behind the hotel. It is convenient to the SLU campus and Central West End. If you aware a family or budget traveler looking for accommodations for this location, I highly recommend this hotel!

One of the beds had a broken support board under it & mattress was dipped down in the middle. About to collapse at any moment. Shower curtain smelled like it was soured. Room was so small fridge could not be opened/closed w/o dragging against corner of bed. In order to access the right side of the same bed you had to climb over it because the microwave/fridge cabinet was crammed in so tight. There was a remote for the lights but the batteries were dead. Could not find TV remote, finally had to pull bedside table out & found it behind that. Neither of the 2 usb ports worked at all. There were 2 black head hairs in one of the beds. I got bit by a spider the first night & ended up on antibiotics. Finally, when I advised the front desk of all of this they did say sorry but absolutely nothing else. I will definitely not stay here again and I am a frequent traveler to St. Louis. I picked this spot based on reviews, not sure how they were listed as good as they were.

Overall the hotel and rooms are a good option.
