Although I could hear the mechanical sound of the shower running in the next room at 4 a.m., the room itself was clean and nice. However, the check-in staff had a flat expression and tone, so it didn't feel very welcoming. Everything else was fine.

I am writing to share my experience during my recent stay at the Marriott St. Louis Airport. While the remainder of my visit was acceptable, my arrival experience on Monday July the 27th was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standards I associate with the Marriott brand. After checking into my room, everything initially appeared fine. However, when I went to bed, I noticed a dark stain on the sheet. Because I was exhausted after travelling from Baltimore, I placed a towel over it. But then there was a chemical disinfectant smell coming from the bedding and the pillows. The odor was so strong that, after about 45 minutes, I could literally taste it. I called the front desk to ask for assistance and was told someone would come to change the sheets. Instead, a staff member arrived, dropped clean sheets and towels on the bed, and said, "Here it is." When I explained that I was not going to change the sheets myself, he said he didn't know how to do it, told me not to raise my voice, and walked out. This interaction was completely unacceptable. I then went downstairs to the front desk in person and was moved to another room, which was clean. However, due to the initial incident, I did not feel comfortable allowing housekeeping into my room for the remainder of my seven-night stay. I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, and this was by far the

Front counter was rude, room was dirty, and I was charged to park - why wouldn’t that be included in the room cost?

Tough stay at airport Marriott after deferred flight. Had to book via 3rd party from lobby. Desk staff was helpful but room had a whistling toilet that woke us repeatedly during the night. Highlight was our 5:00 AM shuttle driver who was absolutely great.

The shuttle service to|from the airport was excellent.

Carpet in room had a smell. Maintenance was very responsive to address the issue. However, I think corporate should have a better schedule to replace the carpet. It was obvious that it had far passed its useful life.

So convenient to the airport and shuttle 14/7. Buffett breakfast was fabulous. Would stay again
-
Good location, rooms are dated, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was small and the tub was dirty. The bathroom also looked poorly maintained.

Very clean!

Yes, the Breakfast bar was fresh. I would have; however, preferred eggs cooked to order and waffles on the menu.
