Reviews

It was a wonderful experience.
-
I thought it would be much nicer. Elevators pretty grungy. Overall felt like a cheap holiday Inn. Needs some renovation.

The hotel's history and architecture is amazing and so beautiful! At the end of our busy (site seeing) day we relaxed by the bar with adult beverages and enjoyed the images displayed on the ceiling, it was an awesome experience.

One word of advice make sure there is not a wedding or something that would cause features to be unavailable during you stay. A wedding caused some issues for our planned events but that's my fault for not checked ahead since we were only staying one night. The parking situation is not ideal either, how it's set up, we had no choice to use valet and bellhop since traveling with a family and all the bags it comes with. Using those services added extra expense to and from the car and made things more hectic coming and going.

A gorgeous historical building. Room is spacious and well maintained. Breakfast is amazing.

While the check-in process went smoothly, the breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, we did run into a few issues. The property is well-kept and the staff is friendly, but the on-site kids' activities are quite expensive since there is zero discount for hotel guests, and the costs add up way too quickly. On top of that, parking is overpriced. We were also bummed that the grand hall light show was completely broken for our entire stay, especially with conflicting communication; one staff member told us they were actively working on it, while another admitted it wouldn’t be fixed for a couple of days. We truly appreciate how kind the team was and how clean the hotel is, but for the price we paid, we really hoped for a fully functioning experience.

The Union Station entrance is a very interesting, beautiful, and historically significant building. The property itself was very convenient. The staff was very friendly, and the dining options were great.
-
It was very clean and welcoming. The walk to our room was a good distance and the elevators were very slow.
-
The hotel was beautiful and the location was great! Most attractions were walkable or only a short drive away. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
-
Beautiful facility in a great location.
-
Good location, nice staff!

The suite we were in was not great. The lighting is kinda poor, the hot water in the half bath was just droplets, the room is divided by a door but the bedroom has zero AC vents or airflow, the bathroom fans didn’t work at all, the phone wouldn’t dial to anywhere on or off property, and the halls were just as humid as outside. The wheel, swing and carousel were hits with the kids, but it’s costly. Also don’t get the pork steak at the Train Shed, it’s terrible.
-
This is essentially an amusement park hotel. Very nice and beautiful but many areas were crowded with children. Everything else was great.
-
Will stay again
-
We had a great stay. I love that it is very close to the attraction.
-
Everything was excellent
-
Love this place….beautiful and staff is super friendly and welcoming.
-
Two restaurant’s I tried, a seafood house and the Grill (it serves dinner when there is a private function taking up the main lobby restaurant) were excellent. The service staff are often helpful, but there are clearly a few disgruntled employees who are not.
-
Location and history of the property Pillows could be more comfortable but they were better than last time
-
Rooms need updating
