The lobby could use a facelift-it's just old and dark and drab. The hotel was fine-nothing to write home about, but served its purpose.

l have stayed at the Pear Tree in STL several times and it always delivers on friendly staff (Doris and Cheyenne are the best!), great extras like free parking, free breakfast, free drink at 6pm, clean rooms with fridge and microwave, and the best value for a downtown St Louis hotel. Thank you Pear Tree for keeping the cost affordable without sacrificing on quality!

Need to be more aware of certain venues of interest especially since the hotel is less than 12 blocks away. The bus system totally baffled the front desk. I still appreciate them trying

The breakfast selection was very good. The front desk attentive. The rainfall shower head felt luxurious. Dog friendly restaurants nearby. We stayed again on our trip back.

This was an older hotel but it was clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. They even had a happy hour that was nice. The breakfast was very good. I would recommend if you’re on a budget.

A/C was not working the first day, but one mention to the staff and it was fixed by the time we returned to the room at the end of the day. Site was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and we loved the drinks and snacks!

Room & bathroom very comfortable, friendly & helpful staff. Free parking & lots of trolleys to bring luggage up. Lots of kids in pool & jacuzzi, so we chose not to use. Several ice machines broken.
