$50 parking was excessive. Plus tipping to get the car twice.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, perfect location, easy valet parking option.

My stay was great. Everyone was very nice that I met throughout my stay. I just wish there was free parking or overnight parking across the street for people who stay. $35 a night for valet is steep especially if you are not driving anywhere. I had no choice.

4 complaints- 1 was that I didn't know I had to pay for parking/ valet until I got there which was $35 a day so I ended up paying over $100 just to have my vehicle parked at the hotel- which is ridiculous since we were already paying almost $500 just to stay 2 nights already just for 1 room. Valet drained our vehicle battery twice because they left the headlights on the first time and the driver side door wasn't closed all the way and the radio was left on by them the second time. Thankfully they had a jump starter so we were able to get the vehicle started again but if valet would've just listened and left everything off and closed the door all the way, we wouldn't have a dead battery twice. The guys were nice but there was a valet woman with a shaved head and she was RUDE. 3rd, I tried cancelling and getting a refund back in May (2 months in advance) because I no longer needed the hotel because the concert I was going to ended up being cancelled by the artist so I didn't need the hotel anymore and I couldn't get it cancelled and refunded so I ended up wasting over $600 for hotel and parking all because the hotel wouldn't let me cancel and refund my prepaid hotel cost 2 months before I was scheduled to come. 4th is that there was no garbage bags for the trash cans in the room so we had to go and get grocery bags and use them. Also, it's not a complaint on my end cause I don't eat breakfast anyways but I think it's stupid that "luxery hotels" don't provide a breakfast.

We got there early but was hoping to check in anyway. The woman working the front desk was so helpful and kind. She called to see if any rooms were available, and when they weren't, she offered to hold our luggage at the front. Her customer service skills were phenomenal. When the room was avaliable, she was quick to let us know. I was sad I didn't get to say goodbye to her. The valet staff were also so quick on their feet, so kind and interacted with the guests. The hotel is right across from the Grand casino arena so I'd recommend it for any events there. The bus stop out front went straight to the airport and only took about 20 minutes to get there. The room itself was so spacious and so clean. With the heat outside, it was perfect inside. There was a little concert being held in the roundabout, but even that, I couldn't hear from my room and I was only on the 2nd floor. I would definitely recommend and definitely return.

The staff here were always friendly as well as helpful. The only downside was some noise at night from the street - but that is very common in a big city.

great place to stay

Great pool and excellent rooms! Heavy doors!

Great location, very clean, helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant/bar attached.

The staff are amazing to deal with and so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Valet attendant went above and beyond for us. It is a very safe and secure hotel. Nothing that had anything to do with the hotel or the staff at all everything there was great. If I had to pick something it would be the amount of homelessness that exists in the downtown area.

I haven't stayed at a Courtyard in some time and I was impressed with this property. It was in the heart of downtown St. Paul, near the State Capitol and the St Paul Cathedral. Across the street from the Grand Casino Arena as well as the River Fest area. The room was spacious and decor was well appointed. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in St Paul.

Lots of noise coming from street walkers late at night to early morning. Make sure to not book any rooms close to the bus stop at this location
