The Saint Paul Hotel

Clean. Professional. Nice. Helpful. Great location.

Staff are really where the hotel shines. Front door staff—James—are responsive and helpful. The front desk staff are also willing to help with requests. The hotel had five weddings while I was there, but I would have had no idea—nice and quiet. But the rooms are a bit dated. I heard a refresh is coming, but it is a bit early 90s. Carpeted floors, older furniture, dimmed lightbulbs, hard to find plugs. There is a lot of potential here, but in the meantime this is a very good hotel with excellent staff.

The St Paul was one of the very best hotels we have stayed at in a while. The team went above and beyond to meet our expectations. Everything we asked for or needed was handled beautifully. Excellent Hotel!

The hotel was very clean. In a safe area and my daughter and I felt comfortable walking around. The staff were very nice and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

We’re greeted by staff at the front drive, car was parked for us, check in was easy and our room was ready and cozy when we arrived! The restaurant provided tasty food and good service too.

The area surrounding the hotel has little to offer at night, and we did not feel entirely safe walking after dark.

Hotel has historic charm with great location. It needs some updating which will happen with a new owner, I understand. Price is competitive now and will probably become more expensive in coming year. Still a great experience and I plan to return again and again.

This is such a classic St Paul hotel and it was fun to stay here. The location is excellent and short walking distance to theaters, Grand casino arena, and many excellent restaurants. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Great little bathroom amenities in case you forgot anything (QTips etc). Quiet rooms too. Staff was excellent especially the valet team! Very welcoming!

Excellent service in person but they didn't answer the front desk phone. It's a swanky older hotel, the public areas are fancy, my room was nice, the bathroom needs a refresh. Would happily return.
