The Saint Paul Hotel

I had a great stay, room service was great. The location was perfect for my work trip. But I had a leak, I’m guessing from the AC unit in the corner of my room. Same corner where I set down my luggage and it got wet :( I brought it up to the front seat when I checked out and all he said was “thanks for letting me know”. Just kinda felt brushed off about that but everything else was perfect.

An excellent, elegant hotel with very comfortable room furniture and attractive and sophisticated public areas. Superb restaurant and bar.

Nice hotel in a good location. The room was clean and refreshed daily. The room service was good and the staff were all friendly. The coffee bar in the morning was especially nice. No street noise at night and the valet parking was easy.

I would stay here again. The staff is why I would come back. They need to clean up the dust a bit and give it a facelift.

Dated but that’s the charm of this historic place!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but others I interacted with said it was great.

An historic property with charm and grace. The staff is the best in the business! The room are comfortable and very clean.

The property has a 4 pm check in, we arrived a few minutes early as we had an event at 5 pm. After asking multiple times our room was finally ready at 4:45. Otherwise the property is fine

Place is very old, and it feels like it. Feels dirty in many places

Very helpful and considerate staff. We lost the receipt for our car and when we explained and asked for help the desk clerk simply asked for our room number and our car was promptly delivered. Very good breakfast in the Drake.

Four wedding parties stayed at hotel and if some were not in lobby arriving you would never have known. Bar is very nice. Breakfast downstairs tasted very good. Every staff member greets you as you pass by. Rooms are well decorated and furnished, every room has a comfortable stuffed chair to relax in. Hallways in top shape, none of the normal wall dings, beautiful wallpaper. Ditto carpeting. As a retired Road Warrior with millions of miles of business travel, highly recommend.

Great hotel, in a great Downtown location. The staff was incredible,from the front desk to the guy at the coffee bar, to the drivers, to the Bell staff. Comfy room, good food. We couldn’t ask for more.

The Saint Paul Hotel is hands down our favorite place to stay in downtown St Paul. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bed is great too. You can’t beat the location or the atmosphere, and the amenities are first rate.
