Loved the Historic District B&B. Home was beautiful, breakfasts were fabulous and owner/staff were so nice and helpful. Location is great with several neighborhood restaurants. Very walkable to cathedral and other sites. Will definitely stay again.

Kevin was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were cozy, and the made-to-order breakfasts were delicious and went above and beyond our expectations.

The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was a good size with room for my husband to do his yoga. The owner was away, but the "substitute" caretaker was awesome, friendly, interesting and a good breakfast cook. We were there a whole week, and for a few days we had the place all to ourselves, but on the rest of the days the other guests we met were wonderful folks. We are already planning our next visit to St. Paul and plan to stay there again. Really nothing much. About the only thing I can think of is while I love the look of the old claw-foot bathtubs, at my age it is a little difficult to get in and out of them. Then we found out they will be redoing the bathroom and replacing the tub with a shower stall, so they are way ahead at addressing that minor issue.

The location was ideal — walking distance to many St Paul restaurants and shops. The bnb is in a beautiful old home. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. I had a little trouble sleeping on the foam mattress.

The carriage house apartment was perfect for a girl’s getaway. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, especially since they were so accommodating with food restrictions/allergies. The beds were comfortable. And we really appreciated the soaking tub. Overall, everything was great. If we return to the area, we’d definitely stay again!

But what makes the B&B extra-special is the host (and breakfast chef) Kevin! At the end of our expected stay, we found ourselves unable to fly home due to an ice storm at home. Kevin was so kind, so accommodating, and so patient as our plans changed by the hour. He assured us we had a place to stay no matter what, even if we found out last minute our flight was again cancelled and we needed to stay another night in St. Paul--which happened twice! Kevin went from being a host to being a friend! And the daily breakfasts? Amazing! Kevin offered several ambitious and delicious entrees each morning, along with fresh fruit and his home-made muffins! We will ablosutely be returning to the B&B next time we are in St. Paul!

This place is amazing. Super clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable bed. They have a snack bar with complimentary snacks and drinks along with a coffee machine. Everything you could want! We felt so spoiled. The historic home has been kept up so well and is so beautiful to see the original woodwork. They even have an antique rotary dial wall phone! Kevin was so gracious and is a wonderful host. His breakfast was superb! It was easy to get in, had free parking and we felt very safe! We will definitely be back.
