Hyatt Place St. Paul/Downtown

Super clean, classy, roomy place. Such a cool old building!

Loved the historic feel of the building. The extra high ceilings made the hotel feel elegant. Great location in lower town St.Paul.

rooms are incredible, large tall ceilings, very quiet. Entry into the hotel is not as clear aas it could be, Have to push buzzer to get into door, staff did not respond immediately.

Second time guest. Really appreciate the beautiful and historic post office building it's created within. If you love architecture, this place is a gem. Yes, it's a further walk from the arena than other hotels, but it is still very doable. And what you are getting in return is a beautiful property. A HUGE room with a lounge area, private bathroom and the tallest ceilings you have ever seen. It is QUIET, So quiet. I don't know how they do it, but you don't hear other guest noises. It is CLEAN. I always feel safe. It is secured entrance by key card no matter the time of day. And a security guard roams the halls doing nightly checks and such. Free breakfast in a large sunlit room is always a bonus. My only tiny feedback would be that if you are late to breakfast cut off time, the food can be lukewam or even cold. But that is a ME issue for not getting up sooner. I didn't use the amenities on either of my two stays, so can't speak to the pool area or meeting rooms etc.

The room was outstanding. I loved the separate sitting room from the bedroom. The hotel was nice & quiet. You couldn’t hear anyone in the hallways or above us. It is conveniently located for events at the Grand Casino Arena. I will definitely be staying there again.

Extremely high quality hotel with a price far lower than expected. Because they're located in the heart of downtown St. Paul, parking can be difficult. They offer valet parking for a fee, but there are also parking garages within one block for less.

Nice place, very clean, a place to park right accross the street if you don't want to pay $39 a night for valet. Breattkfast had a lot of varieties, turkey sausage being one, ughh. staff very helpful, On;y complaint was I paid $11 more to be on a "top" floor room, which we were on the top (#5), But i assumed that meant a view of the reiver or the town, but there's a 3 foot wall around the building so you can't see much. not sure the value of being on the top floor.

Overall, this was an amazing place to stay. It met all of my expectations and more.

Beautiful spacious room on the 4th floor.

Everything was fine & adequate. Sausages at breakfast were clearly from the day before in one instance (not each & every day).

Great location and a lovely, clean room with high ceilings. The breakfast was okay. Containers with bits to put on oatmeal were awkward to use, not hygienic and all sticky.

The air dryer didn't work and there is no botton to turn the bathroom vent on and off.
