Mint House St. Petersburg Downtown by Kasa

You have to pay $40 per night for valet parking or take a gamble on finding parking ( good luck )

Was very nice, clean. Had a hard time with check in process. Tv remote did not work.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mint House! The property was fabulous,modern and incredibly clean. The location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, and the staff were amazing friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely stay at Mint House again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, modern, clean, and conveniently located place to stay!

Wonderful stay, clean and great location!

The room was spacious and spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped with every possible convenience. The bathroom had a nice walk in shower with plenty of soaps and lotions. The pool was fantastic. Perfect temperature and plenty of chairs in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Also a nice grilling patio area. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is clean and filled with a huge variety of restaurants and boutiques. Easy to zip around with the hotel's ebikes. Short walk to Tropicana Field. Perfect weekend getaway place.

This was a horrible experience! To start, the customer service was just bad! Every employee but 1, seemed to be annoyed that I even tried to talk to them, and gave no help to any of my concerns. The tv didn’t work correctly, the a/c kept changing temperature throughout the night, and the toilet wasn’t working correctly, took 2-3 times to flush. I was informed that there is no maintenance person on site to help with any of these issues. I asked for another room, without hesitation, and/or looking in the computer, was quickly told they are full. I asked if anything could be done, the cold, sarcastic feeling response of, “no, sorry”, felt like it was to just get me to leave. I said, “nothing at all huh?” To which then I got, “if I wasn’t satisfied with the room, there are other hotels in the area.” I only gave it 1 star, because I have to, and the location was great for a weekend of Rays baseball games with my son. I will never, stay at a Kasa location again, I will find another hotel, or recommend the company to anyone in the future. Hopefully this will save someone from making the mistake of staying at any of these locations, and experiencing the same.

This hotel is in a very fun area. Close to shops and restaurants. The set up is great with a coffee maker, washer drier etc. We loved that. We did experience a lot of fighting and yelling in the hotel in the middle of the night which was rather scary. Other than that, we liked out stay.

Great service

I then spoke with an Expedia rep who called Kasa to no avail, they kept my paid 4 day stay reservation! Do not book with this hotel if there are circumstances out of your control keeping you from checking in. They will keep your money, also the booking insurance will expire 4 days before your stay and Expedia will do nothing for you.

Easy contactless check-in and out. There is someone at a desk if you need anything. I got more coffee and garbage bags from them, for example. We stayed in a room on the first floor with pool access. Loved that! Valet available for $40/day. I used spot hero, parked two blocks away, saved some money and had no problems whatsoever. Loved the kitchenette and washer dryer. Was a little disappointed that they have an old fashioned drip coffee maker rather than a Keurig, but it was fine. Tons of restaurants, shopping, activities nearby. Would definitely recommend.

We will definitely stay here again for our next trip. The location is great-walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The only bummer for us was the bed. It was lumpy (not very comfortable), so maybe an optional foam topper could be offered?

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and convenient to places I needed to go and around plenty entertainment and dining. I was very pleased with the value parking and the customer service overall. They made everything easy and were very helpful. I will stay here again.

Really viby spot. Great location to enjoy some night life.

The room lacked cleanliness specially the bathroom which in my opinion is the most important part that has to be extremely clean. I didn’t even want to shower much there because it just felt like it hadn’t been cleaned same with the towels
