Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe

The room that we got was next to the elevator and it was pretty loud we could not sleep at all.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I liked the rock and roll theme of the hotel, large photographs of music stars on each floor of the hotel were cool. Our room was rundown, dusty, and in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was old looking, the sink was cracked, the tub was chipped and clearly touched up with spray paint, good water pressure though. I prepaid for everything through Expedia but was hit with $210 for a resort fee and had to pay for parking. I didn’t see anything remotely making this a resort and in the three days were there housekeeping never cleaned the room. The restaurant was good and the service was pretty good, the waitress forgot to return our credit card, luckily we were able to get it back from security the next morning.

We stayed in the south side. The air conditioner didn't work and the fridge kept shutting off. There was only one elevator working. I informed the front desk 3 times about these issues and of course they were working on the elevator the day we checked out. Noone ever came for the other issues. The front desk manager was kind enough to refund some of our money back.

We had a nice stay! Everything was nice and clean!

Amazing friendly staff stood out the most, throughout guest services and the casino. Great old school vibe, while also being modern and clean. Love the Nug.

We had a nice stay at the Golden Nugget. We stayed on July 4, so things were busy, but the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The rooms are really nicely remodeled!

Our stay was last minute. If you don’t mind a fixer uppers then you’re good. It’s under renovation so the elevators were a bit sketchy. Our room was beautiful but it was missing a few things that we had to call for. We wanted to shower right away but bc we didn’t bring towels, the room also didn’t have towels either. We had to call room service. They did take a while to bring the towels to the room. On another note the bed was really comfy and clean. The shower seemed like it was cleaned in a rush bc there was other peoples hairs (if you know what I meaaaan). Other than that, everything was pretty close to it. So it’s was very convenient! Would definitely stay again!

Everywhere you look there’s obvious poor repairs. Holes in the wall showing exposed insulation and utility pipes. Failing silicone in the tub.

Broken tub, Broken TV stand, no microwave, no fridge.

The room was not in good condition at all. The bed sheets smelled, the mattress had this weird noise when pressed, the carpet had a tear, the toilet seat had this weird noise like hitting the wall when seated, the water bottle inside the room had separate charges of used. Most importantly there was no C-type charging.

Everything was good the room was great but when we wanted to check in they didn’t had a staff member they made us wait for a lot nd then we waited for 1 am nd we had to checkout next day at 11am the experience with Expedia customer service was really great they helped us a lot

Not a good hotel to stay with family in Tahoe stuff are not friendly room are dirty

Golden Nugget still a work in progress, after acquiring property from Hard Rock. Under construction/ renovation. Needs improvement on customer service across the board. Location is great.

We went to the front desk three times to ask that they switch credit cards…they assured us it was changed. I even called while charges were still pending upon my return and again they assured me it had been changed, but it never was.

Had a great experience at this hotel overall, with the staff especially the younger lady That sadly I didn’t get the name of but was working on 6/28-6/29 she was absolutely helpful with my questions I had (especially about the parking) and answered with positive attitude and clarity, now the hotel itself is very upkept and is still ongoing construction, i do wish there were more amenities and the pool closed too early and opened too late in my opinion, but overall rooms were clean and comfortable the bathrooms spectaculary clean and fresh, i enjoyed my stay here

The hotel staff was great the Hotel is very clean the only complaint I have is the rooms need remodeling the rooms smell the rug looks dirty the bathroom need some TLC the rooms and the furniture are very old .

I thought there were a lot of extra charges,for example,early check in, and parking.
