Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe

The parking system was a little frustrating because the card they give you dont work for the gate to go parking. Then the room ac wasent working so very hot but then kicked on later in the night. They need to change their parking system and make sure ac works. The hotel did hook up free food and waived my resort fee so I cant complain too much I guess. The service was great other than that. The people in the oyster bar were pretty miserable and unhappy. They need to not show customers their misery so much because they had some attitude with me.

Loved my stay. Workers at the desk were rude but one of them was nice to help me get my reservation back after a family emergency. Rooms were very nice and up to date and clean. Would definitely come back to stay.

Even with some construction going on, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and peaceful. I did not hear any outside noises at all. The only thing I didn't like was the sliding bathroom door. You can still hear everything in the bathroom as if there was no door at all. Small price to pay overall convenience of location and everything available inside the hotel. We had breakfast lunch and dinner without ever having to leave the hotel.

Keys consistently not working had to walk a long way to front desk to get a key after a long day activity

It was our first visit to South Tahoe, and we enjoyed the meal, (especially Oyster bar and Mastro's) both restaurant's staff were so nice and attending, we really enjoyed. We would love to come back for more in the future. Thank you so much!!

Housekeeping never came, and also I called several times all weekend. Never got toilet paper or new towels. Also, I was in the sunset tower but yet the view was the parking lot. The passes didn't work for the "fitness area". Only thing good was Mastros....be careful when booking

We always enjoy our stay at GN hotel. Good choice of restaurants in the lobby. There’s coffee shop. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. Newly renovated rooms and big pool with cabanas. Pet friendly of course.

The rooms were beautiful and luxurious. Anything I needed at the front desk was taken care of immediately. I would 100 percent recommend.

Close to the other casinos and the music venue next door that we saw a show at. Rode Lime scooters that were available and traveled around the area with ease. Lots to see and enjoy close by.

Cons - no amenities for resort fee, pool not open. Long lift wait as only one working. Had to request coffee refill each day in room as not replenished by housekeeping. Would definitely stay here again when fully refurbed.

The towels were rough, and the carpet had not been vacuumed thoroughly—I actually stepped on someone’s rotted tooth. Absolutely disgusting. The electrical outlets near the headboard were falling out of the wall, which was concerning. The refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment, and housekeeping took about 45 minutes to bring extra coffee. Also, there is no restaurant serving breakfast, only a coffee shop offering sandwiches. Overall, the room had some positives, but cleanliness, maintenance, and service need improvement.
