Harrah’s Lake Tahoe – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe was a nice place to stay. The room is spacious and updated. The only thing we noticed was the wallpaper was peeling a bit in the bathroom.

We enjoyed a quick mid week stay at Harrah’s Tahoe. The staff was great, easy check in, the indoor pool and Starbucks on site were great! When we checked in, I took my shoes off and entered the restroom where I cut my foot on a piece of glass that was on the floor in front of the toilet. I tried to cal the front desk for a band aid since I was bleeding but the phone didn’t work. I heard Housekeeping in the hallway and someone came in and vacuumed our room. I got ahold of Security and they sent a couple guys with a first aid kit. Before they arrived though, my husband found another small piece of glass on the carpet. This was worrisome as we were traveling with a toddler. I booked through a third party so the only thing Caesar’s did for me was cover our resort fees for both nights. They did put us in a different room though. I enjoyed my morning coffee and the pool was nice as it was cold and windy. I just wished they would’ve offered a better compensation since I walked around with a sore foot for 2 days.

Enjoyed my stay. The room was very quiet. Brew’s Brothers had delicious breakfast. I was on a cousins trip and we all had a great time.

It's so hard to put into words. Nice big room with 2 bed AND 2 bathrooms. We were able to check in earlier than 4pm - perhaps by an hour - and do not believe that we were charged for it even though it is noted that may be a possibility for early check in or late check out. You had to treat the room like it was your child. There may be obvious faults but you love it. So a partial view of the lake. As I mentioned the room was spacious and generous. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not as they were two king pillows and quite generously filled. The AC only worked if set at 62. The fridge was turned on MAX and our pop exploded on the 2nd night. We had to wrangle our own extra set of towels so there was no cleaning during our 3 night stay. It was quiet for the most part. First night we had a late night walker above us but no issues the remainder of our stay. We enjoyed ourselves.

Overall, the whole stay was great. The staff were awesome ,the rooms are so big and roomy and two bathrooms was all a great plus .The casino was also very clean .We had a great time.

Loved the accomodations such as the premium king room! A Little old - the wallpaper was coming off in places but overall great stay! I got a deal at a little over $200 a night with parking but would struggle to stay here long. We need to adjust value in the travel industry. Since this is a casino, I always want the highest order of cleanliness since smoking is allowed indoors. Also, the only big complaint I have is I wish there was an all-night food establishment. We went out at 2am but would have preffered not to have to leave the resort.

To add to the disappointment, our rooms were located next to the elevators which are not sound proof therefore causing for every elevator ride to cause a huge rumbling sound in our rooms at all hours of the day! On top of this, the filtered water stations for refills were not working anywhere! Additionally, there was a lack in emergency evacuation as the fire alarm was pulled in the evening and an overheard announcement was made to go into the lobby but no clear direction for a plan unless asked and a dismissive “oh someone just pulled the fire alarm” was told and we can go upstairs once elevators were working again. No confirmation or clarity if safe while the rest of the casino continued as if nothing happened. Highly disappointed with our stay and would not recommend.

Not bad but not great either. Property is getting old, worn out. Rooms are not filthy but little things don’t work and furniture is stained / dirty from extended use. Follow thru from hotel staff is lacking. Definitely time to remodel rooms.

Our check in was easy. It was very nice view of the lake we stayed on the 10th floor. Room was very clean.

The only complaint I had was that I needed a wheelchair and when I approached the front desk, they said I needed to go to the bell hop. I hobbled over there and there was a sign that there wasn't anybody available and to go to front desk. I thought it was unprofessional that the girl didn't just go get me a wheelchair and get a copy of my license. Seems to me that the managers who have this policy need to change it so its simpler. Other complaint is that the restaurant stops serving breakfast at 11am. its a casino. People sleep in and get breakfast throughout day so it should be extended like they do in Vegas.

Location was excellent. Easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants and bars.

We loved our stay at LakeTahoe Harrah's!! So much so that we ended up adding an extra night to our stay! The 1st night we ordered some delicious apps and dole whip margaritas from the Mexican restaurant that's on property and they brought it to our room so we could snack while we were getting settled in and ready for our evening out. The next day we went to the pool and had lunch outside, it was decent food and our waiter was super amazing even came to the cool tub we were sitting in to take our order! Their gaming floor was probably my favorite out of all the casinos in the area... Could be because I won big time!! Lol Room was clean and came with all the commodities and then some! Even a pair of disposable slippers!! The room was a little small for the price, but clean and comfy and the bathroom was quite large in comparison. The pool area could've been larger as well. Too many people for such a small place. Seemed outdated However, we later found out that the we could've used the pool at the ceasers next door that's much larger! Parking was outrageous! But I believe they took it off at the end after I hit that jackpot. Either way, I walked away with way more than I started with even after paying for all of our yummy meals, and the 3 nights there and 2 more at ceasers across the way!
