You get what you pay for. Holes in carpet and hotel is worn down. Needs more than a coat of paint. Lobby and common areas were nice, room was in poor condition.
-
Our first room smelled like mildew and the carpet was very damp, almost wet. The front desk lady was very helpful in getting us a different room however. Parking was very good. They were doing renovations so it was a bit busy during the day.

The tub wasn't clean and the elevator has a slight soft spot. The room overall was good.
-
Very convenient to the Ga Southern stadium where my granddaughter graduated.
-
The eagles nest was a good pit stop for what my family needed in Statesboro GA. they are currently in the process of renovating which left some things unfinished / inaccessible but hopefully this will make it even better in the future.

Horrible musty smell- room felt very humid. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Floors looks dirty
-
Location and facility, while still in the process of renovation, was well cared for. Nothing worth mentioning.

While the location is excellent, that’s all that can be said that’s positive. The place is an absolute wreck. The entire first floor is under construction. The parking lot is extremely dirty and several unsavory characters lurk around. None of the amenities were usable. The only bright spot would the front desk help. She was quite nice and tried to do her best. I simply cannot recommend this place

The manager was very nice and understanding but my situation The hotel was not up to my expectations and it was nothing like the pictures online there was already in to renovating the hotel and I just did not like the situation that I was in online they said it had an indoor pool when I got there the pool was closed in and closed down it was about to make a breakfast room so they do not have an indoor pool anymore very disappointing

The Eagles Nest sucks. It's nasty and I hate I ever went there.
-
Clearly going thru renovations which leads to the low stars. It served its purpose as a place to lay our heads for less than 12 hours, near the university university. I get renovating... But the dead roach that'd clearly been there a while by the ac unit in the room, or the dust bunnies on the ceiling .. Stuff like that isn't the renovations fault. Woman at the front desk was polite. Thought it was cool they had a pancake maker rather than a waffle maker. Never seen that. Reading reviews of everywhere close to Southern, it's all being renovated. Hoping the best for the place once that's done. Perfect location... Sadly lacking.

except, the floor lamp did not work and the bedside wall lamp did not work. I swapped the bulbs so the problem is in the fixtures, anyway I’ll be back in a couple of weeks.

Breakfast sucked Overall cleanliness
-
Staff was great, our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Decent selection for breakfast. Will be staying there again.
-
It's an absolute bargain stay and the staff is helpful and sweet. We will always stay here when we travel to Statesboro.

The room was nice and spacious. The elevator is old & dated, but it works. Pool was being refurbished and we never partook in the free breakfast so not sure about it, but for what we needed (a clean place to lay our heads), it was great. Close to the football stadium and our son's dorm.
