Super 8 by Wyndham Statesboro

The doors had mold. The bathroom sink was rusted and painted white to try to conceal it. The room smelled like mold being covered up with strong perfume. We left immediately after checking in.

The conditions were so unacceptable that we decided not to stay and left shortly after checking in. What made the experience even more disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. Despite explaining what happened and providing documentation, the hotel refused to issue a refund and claimed that the room had been used. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this property carefully read the recent guest reviews and look at guest photos before booking.

The bed was springy and uncomfortable, small pillows, TV was bad, staff (housecleaning) was very rude

Run down room. Busted bathroom door and sink cabinet. Old beds and pillows. TV cabinet was sticky on top. Did not meet expectations.

It was terrible!!! Mold all over ceiling allll over! Running toilet. Molded fridge. Burns in bed spread. We walked in and said NOPE!!! Sleeping in our car would’ve been safer based on the mold and other clientele.

Clean room

There were construction workers outside "smoking weed" . . . all night long. The strong smell drifted into my room and I had to wear a mask for 6 hours. Two, there were roaches in the room. They come out when you start eating. Three, there was "no breakfast." Breakfast is advertised on the internet. Lastly, there was "no ice." The ice machine was not working.

They need to upgrade their website no pool or breakfast as advertised plus ice machine broken. Had to keep my drinks in the fridge to keep cold in-between taking drinks

Filthy, nasty staff, dangerous atmosphere, didn’t even stay because my daughter and I were in danger, staff didn’t care, drug dealers around and couldn’t lock my door from the inside after they this was the 3rd room they offered me. The refused a refund and keep dodging my calls and when hotels.com tried to reach them they said the manager wasn’t available and I need to call myself.

This was an extended stay. It was absolutely horrible. I was so upset I didn’t sleep. People actually live in this hotel. It was so dirty and smelled horrible. I will never be back!

Booked this hotel, received my confirmation, when I arrived they said they were full! Had to find other accommodations, so not satisfied at all with Super 8. The hotel could've at least called, texted, or emailed, to let me know there had been a mistake made in my booking, but I was blindsided the day of my check in.

Good place to go and sleep

Towels had stains. One wash rag for a room that holds 2.

Horrific hotel. Avoid at all cost. Filthy, roaches, sticky floors and countertops, open drug use.

My room was filthy and smelled of cigarette smoke. The walls and floor boards were dirty. The bedding had stains on them. I complained to staff and she said she was coming up to look at it, she never did. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The air conditioning unit was even dirty!

Stay away from this hotel. It was raining hard and the gutters were broken in front of the check-in window so there was about 3 inches of standing water. Upon checking in we were put in a room that was very dirty. Hair grease on the living room mirror, broken luggage rack, floor boards are separated as if the room has had water damage, the tub still had hair products on the sides, the floor was not swept, and very dirty mattresses. I went to the desk and asked to be moved. She asked me to go look at another room. I did go in and look at the mattresses, although not the cleanest they were ok. I glanced at the floors and the bathroom. It appeared the room would be ok to get sleep in. So I returned and told her the rom would do. We took our stuff in and left for dinner and a trip to Walmart. When we returned it was then I started to notice the toilet seat was broken, the towel rack was bent and hanging off the wall, there was gum on the wall by the headboard, the nightstand drawer was broken, there were cigarette burns in the comforter (non smoking room), a white smeared matter on the desk chair. I then booked another hotel at the Holiday Inn Express and went to the desk to get a refund and let her know the condition of the room. The attendant refused to go look at the room with me, said I had only 10 mins to get a refund and it had been three hours since we had checked in. She would not give me the number to the corporate Wyndham office. She refused ti give the refund.

There is no breakfast. This is lie.
