Best Western Erie Inn & Suites

Check in/out was easy. Plenty of room and good breakfast options.

The staff were courteous, breakfast was good, the hotel overall was clean. But I don't think I'd stay there again.

Stayed on a Friday night. June 19th. Parking lot was full. Was on the 3rd floor. Nice room. Bathroom was well lit. Has a pull out sofa in the main room. Not very comfortable. King bed in a private room with doors to separate. Parents slept well. Only 1 tv in the private room. A little spots in the bathroom showed rust and caulk was missing around the tile base trim. Big shower with good water pressure. Refrigerator made noise throughout the night. 3rd wheel won’t sleep well for an adult. Weight room had free weights, treadmill, stair climber, mats, stretch bands, maybe more. Had a pool. Did not use. For a recent renovation they could have done better with the final touch ups. Renovation material was in site above the main lobby. Only noticeable if you looked up. Towels weren’t fluffy or thick enough. But not cheap motel towels. Only had 2 towels so had to ask front desk for another. The phone did not work. Had no dial tone and when front office called they said it was busy. Needed it to call down for sheets for the pull out. Of course for another towel. That was an inconvenience. Breakfast had variety. It was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, only banana nut muffins, cereal, yogurt machine, juice machine, milk, and more. Seating capacity of probably around 30. Seemed small. Small parking lot. July 3rd price was $212. June 19th price was $280. Thinking high price due to Fifa World Cup. Idk. From the Midwest too. 4/5 stars.

Hotel was fine. Room and bathroom very nice. All areas were clean. Breakfast was ok. Waffle maker was a hit with the kids. Much of the other food was microwaved.

The internet was too slow to load pages. There was no bedding for the pullout couch which was needed. It was difficult to adjust the air conditioning. To cool the adjacent living room area, the bedroom was freezing.

The room was clean and newly remodeled with lots of open space. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was quiet even in a room right near the elevator

Convenient parking and location. The room was smaller than expected. With only one luggage rack and no chair or bench, there was no place to put a second suitcase. We asked the desk clerk for a second luggage rack, and he said there were none available. Later, a different person at the desk was very accommodating and found a luggage rack for us. (Luggage racks are a pet peeve of mine. If there was a single, simple thing that hotels could do to accommodate two people in a room, it would be to provide a second luggage rack if there is no other place to put a second suitcase. It would cost so little, I can't understand why it's not done!)

Convenient location. Breakfast was fine. Hotel outside of the room was fine, no issues with it just the room itself. Door to the bedroom was glass with no curtain, let in way too much light. Door to the bathroom was frosted glass - no privacy. Electric Outlets near the sink didn’t work because they were halfway behind the mirror - no room for a plug. Lamp usb outlets didn’t work. Room had no sheets and pillow for the sofa bed anywhere in the room - had to go get them at the desk.

Location, cleanliness Nothing

Comfortable room. Decent breakfast. There was only 1 chair in room. There were 2 of us.

This room exceeded my expectations. It was a comfortable, modern space with good beds and a large clean bathroom. (no stained grout!) We could see the lake from our window! The breakfast was a bit lacking. Yogurt dispenser didn't work, water dispenser squirted and the food was not readily replenished.

The staff was amazing and kind, very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps the owners are new and they just purchased the property…I don’t know. I wish I could give a better review, if it was for the staff only my review would be stellar….but for the price point I was not very satisfied.

Friendly staff. Nice TV Dirt on floor, weird smokey glass bathroom door, toilet seat didn't stay up, coffee maker was jacked.

Over all was good

The staff were really accommodating! I drove from 3.5 hrs away and picked this hotel because they have an EV charger, so I was able to fully charge my car overnight before the drive home the next day! I had a small hiccup with the EV charger but the staff were on top of it getting it sorted out for me. Overall had a great stay. Breakfast wasn’t the best but definitely had the basics!

Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Never got my military discount. The TV and Wi-Fi connection were difficult and spotty. The TV would turn itself off. Picture when we had it would pixelate. Then the TV would shout down. Also the bathroom sink faucet was loose and wobbly. Took 2 hands to turn it on. See above.

The fact that the reservation was canceled within 24 hours, three weeks in advance of making through Bookings. Reservation was not canceled by Best Western, I should of received a partial refund, did not. Will not be staying at a Best Western anytime in the future due to treatment and no resolve.
