Residence Inn Sunnyvale Silicon Valley I

The location is convenient, the views are lovely, and breakfast was included. Our room was incredibly spacious — more like a small townhouse than a regular hotel room. It had two floors, a full kitchen, three TVs, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, dishes, plates, and many thoughtful kitchen supplies, including dishwasher detergent. The bathroom was well-stocked with towels and toiletries, and the shower had great water pressure. Overall, the value was excellent. Most importantly, we want to give special recognition to Dominic at the front desk. He was one of the most professional, responsible, and genuinely caring hotel staff members we have ever met. We hoped to stay near the pond because our children wanted to watch the Canadian geese, and Dominic went above and beyond to help us find the right room. He patiently showed us the map, helped us compare options, and truly cared about making sure we were happy and comfortable. Even at checkout, he thoughtfully asked how we liked the room and whether everything worked out well. That kind of service is rare and memorable. Dominic truly makes this hotel shine. I sincerely hope management recognizes his outstanding work with the raise, promotion, bonus, or formal recognition he truly deserves. We are very happy to give this hotel a well-deserved 5-star review and will definitely recommend it to others!

Clean room, great location and helpful staff

very clean and easy access from main highway. You have to pay for parking, wow, talk about excess and taking advantage.

Extremely noisy with highway just a few meters away, terrible window insulation, very hard to sleep with noise. AC also noisy Apart from that they charged me double for parking and despite reaching out to the hotel they basically said they can't fix it. Do not leave without checking the bill, don't accept the 'we send it via email'

Clean Highway noise

Need an enclosed/ private room for business center for conference calls. They only have a small desk by reception so there’s a lot of background noise when you’re trying to work or have a video call. Otherwise well priced. Quiet & safe area.

Really cute, like little houses with lanes and greenery in between. The room was really nice with a perfect kitchenette set up - could have stayed a long time!

The Room: The townhouse-style layout is great. My first-floor room was massive, featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, a comfortable sofa, a great work desk, and a spacious split-layout bathroom. A pleasant fragrance greeted me upon arrival—everything was perfectly clean. The Wi-Fi Curiosity: The Expedia listing noted paid Wi-Fi for this tier. Trying to connect via their loyalty program prompted me to visit the front desk for activation. Combined with a weak cellular signal inside the room (only one bar on T-Mobile), getting online was a bit of a puzzle. As a hotel operator, I actually found their selective Wi-Fi routing system quite fascinating! The Highlight: The breakfast was spectacular! Oh my goodness, the buffet spread was incredibly rich, diverse, and delicious. It kept me completely full and energized right up until the 12:00 PM kickoff. Location: Perfect. Right off the 101 freeway, surrounded by Silicon Valley tech hubs, and minutes from Whole Foods, McDonald's, and Jack in the Box. Despite the minor Wi-Fi hurdle, this property offers phenomenal value and space. I will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very y confortable Space Was perfect for a couple

Nice location, nice staff, but room was not clean. There was trash left, dirty washcloth, and some stains on the wall that looked like ketchup or hot sauce. I let the front desk know and they gave me half off my parking fees, but never sent anyone to clean the room.

Very clean great location

Location beds were comfy. Breakfast was wonderful, they had fruit!!!!! I had help getting my suitcase up the stairs I no elevator for the upstairs apt. And the parking permit took forever!!!!!

The property has two sides-one sides is fine bit the other side is right on the other side of the 101 freeway. Could not sleep well as you can hear freeway traffic all night long. Breakfaat was decent.
