Courtyard by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square

It was very OK. Room was clean. Bed was very low and kind of lumpy. The toilet didn't flush very well. The cleaners never came to clean the room. That being said it was near where I had to be. Parking was $19 per night. Check in was quick and curt.

Hotel went out there way to make me and my girlfriend feel good and comfortable for our friend’s wedding trip.

The rest of the experience was fine- but these three complaints are kind of a big deal. For the rate we paid I expected more. The front desk was told, and receptive. Hopefully they address the issues.

The staff was amazing and so personable, the room was clean and comfortable . The hotel overall was very clean and accommodating. It was a bit pricey for an overnight stay.

Overall, I thought the cost was high for a very average hotel. I stayed just one night and therefore didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the cost was roughly $400 for the night and it was a dated hotel.

Everything! Every time we’re in Syracuse, this is where we stay!

The staff was great. We were even upgraded to a bigger room since we were a party of 5. I wish I could remember the name of the young lady that admitted us because she was very professional and friendly. The breakfast crew were just as kind and friendly. All the mattresses were horrible. We had 2 king beds and one sofa bed. We all woke up with back aches. I was looking forward to that classic feel good hotel bed but was very disappointed. The hotel definitely needs to invest in new mattresses. Also, the cleaning crew can do a much better job. The baseboards and window sills are dusty and the corners in the bathroom are very neglected. The room needs a complete deep clean.

Great location. Clean hotel. Great staff. The only negative is the parking which is. Wet limited & difficult to park in.

great courtyard with wonderful staff in vibrant syracuse downtown neighborhood. Close to university, airport and all. Sadly, does not offer housekeeping on a daily basis

Also, they set the temperature at 77 degrees in the fitness center. That is much too warm for working out. No other fitness center in America sets temperatures above 72

If it wasn’t 3 blocks from our kid’s apartment, we wouldn’t stay here.
