Our first time staying at an Extended Stay America. The room was spotless, the kitchen was very convenient, and it was a short 15-20 minute drive to the FSU campus. Woud stay again.

Everything was great with the room. the lobby area needs to be cleaned and maintained The outside garbage cans were overflowing

This hotel now sits among the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The place was dirty. The floors in The lobby and outside the elevator were absolutely gross. The room was just a bad. The beds were so hard that it was like sleeping on concrete. The staff told me that they were all new beds and that’s all they had. The pillows were basically non existent. The place was supposed to come with glass wear and dishes and such. Absolutely nothing except two plastic cups. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train coming through the room every time it kicked on. Which was about every three minutes. The staff refused to let us check out and refund our second day. So we had to put up with this place a second night. All this and they were completely price gouging at almost $500 a night because it was a home football game. Anyone looking to stay here would be better off sleeping in a tent.

Doors would not shut/lock unless you held them tight. Beds not comfortable. AC Unit (window) was a mess - either too cold or too hot.

Cons: Hotel is dated and tired. The room overall didn’t appear to have been cleaned—some hair in the sink, hand stains on the fridge, and water cup stains on the desk. The worst offender though was the pullout sofa mattress, which was beat up and covered in stains. We fortunately brought an inflatable mattress with us, which I strongly recommend if you’re road tripping for a game. Also they say there’s “breakfast” in the morning lol but it’s Nutrigrain bars and prepackaged chocolate muffins. Like all trips to Tallahassee, you get what you get, so it served its purpose, but don’t expect high quality.

Talk about a scary looking place, stay away.

The are renovating and there was no notice of that beforehand. I couldn’t even get into the lobby to register. The staff were fine but everything else was awful one evening the internet was out the whole first floor was not accessible and no elevator. They should have offered some type of discount for all the inconveniences. Couldn’t even drop off the room keys had to call anytime I needed anything. Will never stay at this franchise again
