Residence Inn by Marriott Tallahassee North/I-10 Capital Circle

I was rather disappointed with this location. We prefer Residence Inn, but this one was run down. The room had an issue with the ice maker - sounded like someone knocking on the door. The front desk person was rude when we checked in - didn’t want to accept my federal ID, would only accept a state issued drivers license (because you must be able to drive to rent a room!). The desk chair was torn and the sheets really thin. Not up to the usual Residence Inn standards.

Everything was was nice. The room could use a little updating. The a/c unit was at the window was very loud when it would cut on. But overall nice.

Great place to stay. We loved it

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent; they offered different options each day. There was just one minor issue: the air conditioning unit closet in my room was located inside the room and made a lot of noise whenever it turned on, though I think this is something that could easily be fixed. Great location too. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants.

The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and offered something for everyone. The location is great. the hotel was conveniently located in the heart of everything. There were several restaurants right next door ,and many more were just a short drive away. The only thing I did not like was that the building felt a bit dated. I also wish the fireplace in the room had been operational, as it would have made the stay even more enjoyable.

Very convenient to I10 and staff went above and beyond to accommodate when our TV was not working.

The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Pillows were the only bad experience.

SHANEKA IS A REMARKABLE YOUNG LADY. I HAVE NEVER EXSPERIENCED SUCH FRIENDLY, KINDNESS, CONCERD,AND CARING PERSON. HER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUT OF THE WORLD. THE THREE NIGHTS THAT I STAYED WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD IN A LONG TIME. SHANEKA DESERVE A REWARD FOR HER EXCEPTIONAL WORK. SHE DRIVES THE GUEST TO WANT TO COME BACK. NOT JUST A THANK YOU BUT SOMETHING THAT SHOW SHE'S APPRECIATED. SHANEKA I WILL SEE YOU NEXT MONTH.?? NOTHING EVERYTHING WAS REMARKABLY

Room was great! Very spacious and perfect for 2. We were close to the end by the highway, so that was kind of loud, but other than that, it is in a great location with lots of food choices nearby and just about 20 min from FSU.

Staff friendly but overall in need of an update as compared to other property by the universities.

Easy access to the interstate. This hotel is very old and in desperate need of a refresh. It had a very musty mildew smell. The door lock and hinges didn’t work properly. The bathroom had mildew and buildup. It just wasn’t clean. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet (lipstick still on the glasses). The dishwasher barely worked and made so much noise you couldn’t carry on a conversation or hear the TV. The AC unit was very loud as well. The room we had (101) had the interstate behind it. So if the AC or dishwasher wasn’t making noise then you had the highway noise. This was the worst Residence in I’ve ever stayed in and will not stay there again. Don’t stay here. It’s definitely not worth the money.

SHANEKA WAS EXCEPIONAL. SHE WAS SOOOO VERY FRIENDLY,HER SMILE WAS WITH A GLOW. WOW I HAVE NEVER MEET ANYONE IN HER POSTION SO WONDERFUL.
