Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Westshore/Airport

Marriott Courtyard properties have always been a 'stay-cation' favorite with my husband and I. The manager, Daniel, was very kind and treated us with compassion after a check-in date reservation was mishandled via a computer entry for our initial reservation. Daniel more than made up for the computer error in providing us with a very quiet, well appointed room with a beautiful balcony view of the courtyard pool and patio area. The room was very comfortable with a new HVAC system control on the wall of our room. We found the 72 degree setting to be perfect for fabulous sleep hygiene in very comfortable beds with fresh, white, plush bed coverings that didn't have any perfumed odors that can be irritating. We had just returned from a vacay to Montreal, and noted the 'new trend' in hotel room decor is no art on the walls and supreme cleanliness above all else. This is what we found when we entered our room. Extremely clean and devoid of all art walls with one contrast wall in navy. This is the second hotel brand to follow this new no-art trend and it is much appreciated voiding a concern that wall art could dislodge. The Courtyard brand is always well equipped with user-friendly coffee makers, microwaves, mini fridges, lots of closet space, well lit mirrors, sparkling clean bathrooms, and in-shower soaps/shampoo/conditioners. Well done, Daniel. Thank you for your attention to detail and making us feel at home in your beautiful Courtyard.

Needed a room last minute because of a cancelled flight. This was the perfect location. Free shuttle to and from the airport. Would stay again!

Great location for the concert we were attending at Raymond James stadium. Nice room layout. Comfortable stay.

The bathroom was very small with no counter space. I have never stayed at any hotel (especially one that costs $250/night) that charges you for breakfast. There was a small shop in the lobby that charged $6 for a bagel!

The location was convenient to the pier where we were leaving on a cruise They said we had to join the reward program to access the internet. That's terrible.

The room was clean as well as the lobby and corridors. The only minor issue was that the night stand lights did not work.

Very clean everywhere in the building, staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. The only complaints I have would be that the room only has one mirror (over the sink) which makes it challenging to get ready. Also the WiFi is pretty bad and spotty.

Breakfast was okay except they only offer breakfast for 2 and I was charged for 2 extra people and I didn’t get it. I had to pa for the 2 other people. Maybe just offer continental breakfast so everyone is included.

They wanted our kids to sleep on pullouts. (Which we found dirty socks in) and they just gave us sheets and made us make the bed ourselves. Would not recommend this hotel to other families.

Angela at the front desk was wonderful. The shuttle to the Airport was easily arranged and was prompt. Driver was wonderful
