Element by Marriott Tampa Midtown

Fantastic! The room, the bed, the pillows, and the shower were all amazing. Awesome rooftop bar. And the Midtown location and vibe is unmatched in Tampa.

My new spot for tampa. The location is perfect in midtown. Perfect for kids also.

This is our second time staying at The Element. Excellent customer service and the staff is very kind and extremely helpful. We used the valet service for the first time, I highly recommend it. Very professional.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, lots of options for dining within walking distance of the hotel. Facility was clean. The lobby where you wait for the elevator on the ground floor was a little warm/stuffy but luckily, you aren't in that area long

Location was great for us, everything was 8mins or less. Clean place. Didn’t find the staff welcoming or helpful. Valet parking is basically the only overnight option, $45 a night. Still, will definitely return

I love that they had valet parking in the front. And it's a little expensive nightly but you can also park in the back with no charge. The breakfast in the morning was amazing to have someone there cooking eggs on how you like it. I loved every minute. The bed is very comfortable. Pillows can be a little bit better. I felt that they were too soft. Bathroom amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anybody

We got delayed at Tampa Airport on July 4th. We booked this hotel because it was close and had a rooftop pool on a very hot day. Also assumed we could use rooftop to see July 4th Tampa Fireworks. Property was nice, close to Whole Foods and restaurants. After check in we went to use the pool at 4pm. We were turned away because the pool was now 21+ for July 4th event. Now we’re confined to our room and then the music started. Blasting through the hotel. Shaking the beds. We were then moved 2 floors down. Still, music pounding, beds shaking. I messaged property several times through Expedia messaging and never received a response. We usually book Marriott properties for their reliability and expectations. This was a total bummer. Really made an inconvenient delay worse than expected. So patrons be wary.

The staff at this hotel are difficult and rude. The front desk attendant told us room service was available, it was not. Our only opinion was to dine in at the hotel restaurant. The service was lazy and forgettable. The thermostat in the room did not work. I’d find a way to stay at a different hotel in the future.
