Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa/Fairground/Casino Area

This place was nothing like the pictures online. The room was filthy as well as the breakfast area they were out of the juices at breakfast. We missed breakfast it said 6&9 we showed up at 9:20 to find only crumbs and sugar spilled everywhere. The room was extremely dirty the outlet on the lamp was unplugged so I had to venture behind the bed through the 6 inches of grime to plug it in. I did not even attempt to see the pool after seeing the state of the rest of the place. The bathroom was not the worst ever the did have toiletries available. My hair didn’t fall out and I didn’t get a rash after using said toiletries. I think they may rent by the hour by the looks of some of the characters checking in while I was checking out. Had I been staying more than one night I would’ve changed location. After fireworks and being on a plane I just needed to shower and sleep a few hours before my next destination.

It did its job for the price.

The front desk staff home I believe was the actual owner or manager was very rude and demeaning towards myself as I was checking in. I’m announced to me. I did not know that I booked this hotel in an area that was of lower class I would say. And so, therefore, upon checking in, it was almost as if the manager spoke to me as if I was from the Area versus being someone traveling and not being of the same character and our class of the surrounding area. During check-in, my daughter needed to use the restroom and he even refused to allow her to use the restroom in the lobby.. as to the outside area of the hotel, it looked very much rundown and unsafe. I was not at all happy when I pulled up to the hotel and went back online and was about to book a new room until my kids said, “don’t worry about it. It’s just one night we’ll tough it out.” The pine entering into the room, it was actually more well kept and clean versus the appearance of the outside of the hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever! The property smells like bleach and the staff are horrible.

The room seemed clean but there were a couple of roaches if you need a cheap room it’s a cheap room

It was decent for the price. The bed was surprisingly comfy. Bathroom was kinda small. Very good for the price.

This is a very nice and clean place The owners are very nice too. The rooms are very clean.

Would not will not recommend this hotel. The over look and condition of this property are poor. In the past it was one of my favorite pick in this area. But not any more. And everyone should watch their debit cards/ credit to make sure they don't don't double charge your cards like they did mine. There was mold in the shower, under the rim of the toilet and sink. And all the floor were so dirty u could say good bye to your socks. It literally took me An hr and a half to clean my room. And the staff was really rude. And unwilling to accommodate the things I requested or asked.

I did not enjoy my stay at all. The so-called property manager, Vijay Patel, was extremely rude from the beginning. While I was still about 10 minutes away from the property, he called demanding that I pay for the stay within 10 minutes or my reservation would be canceled upon arrival. This was frustrating because I specifically selected the option to pay at the property. I did not feel comfortable being pressured to pay before even arriving. He then gave me the room rate plus a deposit amount but refused to provide the full total when I asked. Since I left my phone in the car, I didn’t have the ability to calculate everything at that moment, I simply asked him to tell me the complete amount including the deposit, and he became upset. He also informed me that if I needed additional services such as cleaning or extra items, there would be a $10 charge per item/service. Because of that, I ended up purchasing my own supplies, including towels, out of pocket. When we returned to the room, I was extremely disappointed by the condition. The room was dirty, and the bathroom looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. There were dead roaches behind the doors, and I felt so uncomfortable that I had to place a towel in the bathtub just to shower. I honestly did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. I even slept with a chair behind the door because I was concerned for both my safety and my children’s safety. Unfortunately, I did not have the extra funds to book another hotel, so I felt stuck. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I would not stay at this property again. I plan to contact corporate to formally report my concerns and see what can be done regarding this experience.

Nothing The photos do not compare to the location! It is run down and dirty and the AC DOES NOT WORK!! I didn’t even take a shower while I was here and there was 7 police cars circling around the property looking for someone the whole night

Horrible place. Cheap tho. Get what you pay for.

There was a roach in our room

The bed was comfortable. The person who was cleaning was polite, smiled and said hello in response to my greeting. Substandard breakfast. No peanut butter. No hard boiled eggs. Floors were dirty. Exterior and interior doors are very old and appear not very secure. All of the bathroom fixtures were in very poor condition. No grab bars in the bathroom. Giant sliding glass single-pane door is a few yards from the interstate. Front desk person was grumpy.

Convenient to our final destination. It was clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast.
