We loved how unique and beautiful the property is. Richard made our stay truly special with so many thoughtful little touches that made us feel incredibly welcome, and his hospitality made the experience one we'll always remember.

Wonderful garden, well decorated casita. Wonderful views on the mountain from terrace. Central to everything and calm Richard was really attentive and hospitable!

Richard, the owner of Casa Gallina, absolutely goes above and beyond to welcome each guest and make sure their stay is exceptional in every way. A light snack awaiting your arrival, fresh eggs from the "girls" and a surprise of delicious cookies are just a few of the ways Richard excels as a host. The accommodations are absolutely charming, and the grounds could not be more tranquil. My husband and I would absolutely stay at Casa Gallina again, it's a fabulous place to unwind and disconnect! There is nothing not to like!!

Loaded with charm from the art to the fireplace to the overall ambience. The grounds give it such a fantastic setting and we loved feeding the girls. Richard was one of the best hosts we have had ! That we had to leave ?

Amazing Richard is a Great Host!!?

Our stay at Casa Gallina far exceeded our expectations. This is a great getaway at any time of year I'd say. The location is wonderful in being near to-- but not in-- Taos and equally close to Rancho de Taos. The casita we rented was spacious and had every amenity you can think of. Plus the super friendly and artful owner Richard greets you each day with fresh eggs to your heart's content and also delicious homemade pastries. The sound of chickens clucking and the green, green grass in the back of the casitas are what make Casa Gallina's grounds so comforting. The howl of the coyotes at night in the distance assures you are in the West. :). In short, I'd strongly recommend Casa Gallina for any people wanting to spend a little more for outstanding surroundings. It'd be a really good locating for sharing with friends or family members (e.g., a small family reunion). We'll definitely be going back. Maybe even this winter. A foodie's paradise with the well supplied kitchen and pastries that get delivered. The coffee that Richard offered us along with other goodies upon arrival were very tasty. Nothing really. When the pandemic's impact lifts, guests will be able to take advantage of even more offerings, like tango lessons by Richard or yoga in town. Can't wait for that to happen!

Casa Gallina is lovely in every way. We had an absolutely wonderful stay - the chickens are so much fun! And Richard is an excellent host. Every detail was covered and we had a chance to totally relax.
