Motel 6 The Dalles, OR

We really appreciated the friendly, helpful staff, and the quick convenience of our late night check in. The beds were very comfortable. A great stay for the price.

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical as I never really stayed at a Motel 6 before. And I am very impressed how clean the room is. I felt very safe and the bed is very comfortable. I will stay here again. Staff was wonderful so that’s a bonus.

Bed was horrible

When we checked in we were told they were short staffed and that room maintenance wasn't available and if we needed new towels to put the old by the door during our stay. The room appeared clean but after being in it for a few hours we found that the sink wasn't clean; there was a ring of brown around the faucet that wiped off with a tissue and the toilet appeared to have not been cleaned around the front rim. The floors were not carpeted in the room and had not been mopped as our socks became soiled after removing our shoes and we had to wear shoes inside the room for the remainder of our 3 day visit. The soda vending machine was out of order the first day we were there but was working by day 2. The maintenance of the outdoor garbage can next to the exterior door of the motel was done at 5 am and the task was a noisy one, we were awakened by the clatter of the job. It's a cheap stay but not up to Tom B's standards that I remember.

The pool was clean and the rooms were very nice. In the top two Motel 6’s I have stayed at! 5 Stars NA

Older property, could use some updates, but the room was clean and well maintained. Easy access from the freeway.

It was very clean and the front staff person was very pleasant. It needs some TLC painting around exterior door and the bottom of my bathroom door was not in good condition. Everything was functional.

Nothing Everything

The room was very clean and modern. The hallways were a bit shabby, but overall it was a good stay.

Exactly as expected for a short stay

Everything was just great enjoyed it very much very clean nice motel I stayed there before I'd recommend it highly stay away from the one in coos Bay it's terrible.

Its gross. We went in and immediately booked a differt hotel. I just ate the cost and left.

The front desk staff gave away my reservation to some random person so when I arrived to check in around midnight, I was turned away and told that they were out of rooms. I asked the desk staff to search my confirmation number and he basically said I was crazy because my name wasn’t in the system. After calling every hotel within 25 miles, we had to drive 25 minutes to Hood River at 1:00am with our child and paid almost $400 for a last minute reservation at the Hampton Inn just to get a few hours of sleep. I was appalled at the lack of customer service and consideration after using motel 6 for dozens of stays over the years. 0/10 stars, would not recommend.

Bad Oder in room

It's a really good value for the money. It's kept really clean. I've stayed at other hotels that are more expensive, that are filthy. It's always nice when you walk into a room and don't feel like you have to check for bed bugs.
