While my experiences at Motel 6 establishments have been a mixed bag, I can say whole-heartedly that the staff running The Dalles Motel 6 has it all figured out :) Warm greetings, modern/remodeled rooms, a location that is easily accessible, and VERY quiet at night - great value too. I will recommend the place to my friends.

The beds are so hard its like sleeping on a bed of gravel. The grounds where clean and remodeled but them beds are atrocious!

clean, well ordered place. staff seems to care. felt safe. air conditioning was great. parking is easy - very easy and very convenient. not a soundproof place! but okay.

It was a very nice room, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little small, and could use more hooks for having towels or clothes, but was perfectly serviceable. I was pleased with the accommodations. Several options for dining nearby (Denny’s, Spooky’s, Cousins, KFC, just a little further down the road are more restaurants and fast food and grocery stores. Easy on and off the freeway.

I have used motel 6 often when traveling through the Dalles and have always had a great nights sleep. The rooms are clean and quiet and comfortable. Wish the pool was an indoor one, LOL

Staff members were very nice and helpful. They have fresh coffee by 6 am. Parking is good and they have an area where you can park if you have a trailer.

We didn’t even stay 10 minutes before we felt so unsafe that we left and stayed elsewhere.

Very basic motel. Room was clean and modern, fridge and microwave worked. The building itself is looking worn and the exterior door didn't automatically close/lock. Mattresses were old and not very comfortable. Reasonable rates

The ac was phenomenal, actually had to shut it off and just use the fan. The room was clean. I used to clean rooms in my youth and I always check a room when i check in. The staff was real nice and accommodating.

While the recently renovated rooms are very nice, the hallways felt a bit unsafe. Additionally, the bathroom in my room could use some attention; there was noticeable hard water buildup in the shower, and the shower curtain needs to be replaced immediately due to mold growth.

The hotel is non-smoking and they definitely put big effort to eliminate cigarette smell from the room and corridors. But I still could feel the smell. Maybe it because many people do smoke right near the front door outside.

The room was maintained nicely, it was clean. It's served is purpose.
