Great location!! Common areas were great!!

Very poor

Grandson would have used the fitness room, but we weren’t told it existed. Very clean, updated hotel. Friendly staff. Seemed to be adequate parking. Liked that we could walk to a local eatery for a Saturday evening - Cafe Enza had excellent, fresh food. Would stay there again.

The room was lovely and the staff are super friendly. Only downside was the pet area is actual at the sister hotel and the parking lot is very small but covered. Also during our stay the bistro wasn’t actually up and running yet but it looks like a nice place for a drink and dinner when it does open up.

Their coffee shop was also a big hit, nice to have fresh pastries and coffee drinks without leaving the hotel. Large open space and comfy seating.

Room was new, fresh, clean and comfy! Highly recommend for your next trip to The Dalles Also location was perfect to access so many adventures!

Dog barking next door. We weren’t aware dogs were allowed. Upon check out we were told to request 4th floor next time to avoid having a dog next to us. Not sure why staff didn’t do that in the first place. We were on the 3rd floor. I was told they try to keep dogs on the 2nd floor.

I had an excellent stay at the Rayland Hotel and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Greg went above and beyond to make sure every part of my stay was seamless, stress-free, and completely hassle-free from check-in to check-out. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly, always making me feel valued as a guest. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. I highly recommend the Rayland Hotel to anyone looking for outstanding customer service and a comfortable place to stay. I will definitely be back.

Nice hotel but description wrong as breakfast is not included
-
Perfect for what we wanted. No pool or fitness center but a clean room with an extremely comfy bed and a nice little coffee shop. All conveniently located!

Quiet, comfortable. They have made tremendous progress on the remodel. Looks terrific! Parking is a little challenging.

The Rayland Hotel was a very nice updated hotel. The rooms were clean and updated as well. There was a coffee shop on the ground floor, which was excellent. You could go get a variety of pastries (for a fee). And you could get any kind of latte or chai that you would want. The staff was very helpful and kind and check in and check out were very easy. It was within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. The reason I gave it a four star instead of a five star was that in my opinion, the pictures were a bit deceiving. You are right on a main road with a lot of loud trucks and cars going by so if you have a hard time sleeping because of noise, this might be a bad place for you. Overall, it was a good stay for two nights.
