The Dalles Inn

This is a family and pet friendly place to stay. It is right in the middle of town pretty much within walking distance.

Room was clean and no complaints except I miss the continental breakfast in the morning.

This is a scammy hotel. I spent hours looking through hotel reviews before booking and this one had reviews about cleanliness and the view. I arrived according to my map and had no clue where to check in. I call and the staff tells me check in is actually inside Rayland Hotel. I believe the reviews talking about the view must be coming from people staying at Rayland Hotel not the Dalles Inn because the Dalles Inn is a disgusting little motel behind the Rayland Hotel with no view other than parking lots and a gas station. The bathroom was so disgusting I didn’t even bother showering. There was a towel still wet in there from a previous guest. The shower curtain smelled so moldy and disgusting it was smelly enough I didn’t even want to use the toilet next to the shower. The bathroom door didn’t even remotely close, you can tell it’s had water damage and is warped. Extremely disappointing stay and I would absolutely not reccomend staying here especially with the deceptive marketing.

Older property but clean and front desk person was nice. IF going to The Dalles inn youll check in at the Rayland hotel right next door. The Rayland manages both properties.

Breakfast was offered at $15.00 I didn't partake. No free breakfast. Bed was not comfortable. Internet was not reliable. There wasn't a desk to work on my laptop.

The building and rooms are older and show the wear but it was clean. The bed was too soft for my tastes and woke up with backache. Air conditioning works. There was plenty of parking available. They gave our dog a cute little goodie bag with treats and a ball. 🙂

It was situated in a secure place. Unsure at this moments.

Right in town

I was worried at first as its a row hotel but the rooms have been remodeled. It was very nice and roomy. Very comfortable stay.

I liked the closeness to the main road and other amenities.

There were only 3 rooms booked on my side of the building - unfortunately the checked us all in a row and the guy next to me woke at 4 and stomped around like an elephant so I got up and hit the road early.

They are working on this property and doing an outstanding job we had to stay in the back part which was still OK clean got what you need but the staff at the lobby were great and the lobby was phenomenal. We got to play some games in there and read great job. The back building needs a paint job. It looks pretty rundown, but the room served our purpose and was clean and the front lobby got us everything we needed.

Everything was perfect

Wasn’t super clean, we have a baby and when he was crawling on the floor his hands and knees were black! There was a family above us that was stomping and running around and they told us they upgraded the people above us to a new room to stop the noise
