Just a basic room. Perfect...

Stayed in the motel part. Beds were pretty comfy. They could have been softer. Bathroom/closet area is very small. There is no counter space near the sink.

The ONLY thing was we went around and around the building to find the office to check in. It was in a hotel with a different name in front of this one. A sign would be good, or in the instructions. Staff was very helpful to ease our concern.

It's not a fancy exotic boutique hotel but a good place to stay while visiting the gorge. Recommended

We had to check in at the Bayview Hotel. We weren’t told this beforehand.

I traveled by myself but a group of us stayed in the same hotel. The room was very clean. It's simple nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable. It was a convenient location within walking distance to restaurants and the neon museum. One of my friends was intent on seeing the neon museum so we went. The guide's passion for neon and his job made us look at neon a whole different way. We enjoyed our short stay.

Nothing Hotel was not what I expected from what I saw online and the price point. $197 for a motel 6 quality room.

The Dalles Inn is situated behind another building and difficult to see. The staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. The room smelled of smoke and a different aroma. Overall the room was clean.

There are many shops and eateries in walking distance and the room was well furnished.

Our stay was GREAT! Perfect location for all hikes, waterfalls and attractions. Room was clean, comfy and quiet! Staff was terrific and the cafe in adjoining hotel has the BEST coffee and super friendly staff! We will be back for sure!

The location is great, the staff was friendly. The desk clerk told me they will soon be renovating the property. There was black mold on the shower curtain and a booger from a pervious occupant dried on the shower wall. We were only there one night and were told at check in that they had no vacancies. We didn’t want to call to ask them to help with the moldy shower curtain late at night. At check out the next morning I let the desk clerk know about it and she was surprised and kindly apologetic. I am confident that the issue is an anomaly based on her reaction.

It was a pleasant stay. Clean, friendly staff.

our friend had a room with one bed, and it had had a table and chairs, so was pretty comfortable. Our room had two beds, no table; I did have two small cube chairs. It was clean. We liked the location, we could walk to Safeway and a number of little restaurants. All of the staff were very nice. I guess it’s still being renovated, which made for some inadequacies. The TV only seemed to have three channels. Felt very cramped and kind of old. No ice machine working. They made ice available through their other property next door, but it was pre-bagged in plastic bags… Dubious. Their fancier property which is adjacent has a beautiful little Cafe.
