Beds are a little soft but room is nice

The beds were comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the shower pressure wasn’t really there, but also enjoyed the complementary stuff in the room and how the rooms were set up.

With light traffic, about 1hr from Malibu and from 405. Located among well developed (oldish) neighborhoods with all major conveniences at your fingertips.

This is a lovely property with a real Southern California feel. It's a clean, comfortable hotel with a shaded courtyard, beautiful pool area, and relaxing fountains. Right now, the included breakfast is provided by Mikey's Restaurant, across the parking lot from the front door. After a long wait, the service we received at Mikey's was not good, so I hope that the Palm Garden finds a better breakfast provider.

The Palm Garden Hotel is a cute and affordable option in Thousand Oaks. We had a couple issues regarding the cleanliness of our hotel room, but the hotel manager, Daniel, was extremely prompt when addressing them. We also appreciated the free breakfast deal at the nearby restaurant, Mikey’s. We would stay here again if passing through.

If it weren’t for the restaurant we would have been more disappointed that we spent $70 more a night to stay here rather than a cheaper hotel because the rooms weren’t any better.

Lots of space in room - nice gym and towels and water in fitness center plus a restroom. Pretty comfy bed. Nice pool and hot tub with towels provded.

Room was clean and updated, but some of the fixtures were loose (toilet was wiggly, the plate thingy that held the shower faucet was wiggly). I am not a fan of firm or hard beds, but if you are, bed is fine. I did like the amount of pillows. The a/c worked well, was a tad noisy. I liked that there was a lot of greenery. I did not like the free breakfast, the coffee was really weak and the food was meh.
