Redac Gateway Hotel In Torrance

The hotel was very clean but shows it's age with old furnishings. Hallway carpeting had lots of "dips". Bathroom exhaust fan was very loud as was the AC unit. Breakfast was a plus. Lots of off street parking.

This hotel is very outdated. Our bathroom had cracks in the ceiling, walls were dirty overall, and room and bathroom especially had a very bad smell.

Very nice place we love it

Very friendly staff. We have stayed here a few times and the rooms were very clean. This time, our floor was missing tiles, hair and stains in the bathroom, and my daughter had a few bites on her. We checked the sheets but couldn't find any bed bugs.

Good value. Clean room, yummy and nutritious breakfast that I don’t see any hotels in this price range offer, and free parking. Foodie takes notice-freshly baked salmon and buttery mackerel rotations and fresh spring mix salad with ginger dressing, miso soup. And other conventional breakfast items like egg, sausage, bacon, waffles and pastries. The floor I stayed is dated but they kept everything clean. I like that instead of carpet, they have hard floors in the room that I stayed and help with my allergies. The towels are like those gym towels. They could have renew some thicker towels for guest rooms.

Most of the cardio equipment was broken. Staff needs to be more informed of the hotel’s amenities, specifically how much laundry costs and where to get change for the machines. Instead they gave those who do not read or speak Japanese a form written in Japanese. Make it make sense.

The staff handled it ok but she could have been nicer. I didn’t like it when she took my id inside the back room without explaining clearly why.

The room was so quiet, it was great. Also very spacious. The bathroom had a Japanese toilet/bidet.

we were not warned of the overnight street construction (our room was facing exactly to the street, Western), and I do not know if the hotel staff was knowledgeable, preventing us from sleeping and resting.

The AC was a little off.l, didn't see to get as could as it should but did enough to not feel the heat outside

I like this hotel. But they really need to improve the gym. None of the machines work. It would also be nice if I could watch YouTube on the room TV. Apart from that, everything good.

Bathroom and toilet was amazing

Convenient for HellmouthCon Gym was under reconstruction, no treadmills were working.
