The hotel was very clean and modern. Hot and cold breakfast was great. The hotel had no closets, but it did have external hooks to hang clothing on the walls The hotel did not provide a locked safety box in room. This is definitely a drawback because this is considered standard I. Most hotel rooms.

The hotel was new and the room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Nothing.

It was a newer more modern hotel. My wife and I made a one night stop in Traverse City to stay for our thirty first wedding anniversary. I was disappointed in that when I booked the room I asked for an early check in time of 3:00 pm. We arrived around 3:40 pm and our room was not ready. We ended up waiting in the lounge until around 4:45 pm, and our room was still not ready to for us to occupy. The front desk attendant told us to go do whatever our plans were and she would call me when the room was ready. So we headed out to our favorite winery which would have been our main destination besides dinner for the night. When we arrived at the winery, we were told that the last call had already passed, and the winery was closing. Had we been able to check in earlier we could have made it there well before closing time. By the time we got back to the hotel it was a bit after 6:00 pm. The front desk attendant informed us that the room had finally been cleaned and became available around 6:00 pm. I decided to email the General Manager of the hotel on 8/1/2026 and let her know how disappointing my stay was due to the room being ready so late and how our anniversary plans were partially ruined due to the room not being ready for us and making us late to our favorite winery. Caroline Ottenbacker the General Manager emailed back quickly and said she would look into the booking.com portal and see what she could do to release some of the bill for the stay that night. After several promises from Caroline to look into this situation nothing has been addressed with her promises. Today is August 25, 2025 and there has been no word from her in quite a while. I am assuming she was just stringing me along in hopes that I would forget this ever happened. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone even though it is a newer facility and it has good potential.

The location was great and within walking distance of some fun places. The bed was very comfortable. When we arrived, the front entry was messy and the floors were dirty with crumbs from breakfast that morning, and we arrived at 5:30pm. The room was small and unwelcoming. There is no carpet in the room, so any sand or dust sticks to your feet and gets into the bed with you. While the hotel provides breakfast, the options are very limited, or simply not changed from day to day.

Our TV wouldn't work, they did offer to move us rooms but it was already late at night. We then found a booger on the nightstand and the shower wasn't the cleanest. Breakfast was mediocre.

We just needed a place to stay over night that was clean and good value, it met our requirements

Cleanliness, service and location

Clean room, but it was not serviced on the first day other than clean towels. Breakfast day 1 was a disaster. No coffee, no eggs, no muffins. Breakfast the 2 morning was better but not not much improvement. Pool was the size of a postage stamp. This was very unexpected for an IHG property.

Arrived at the hotel one hour after check in and room wasn’t ready until 40 minutes after. We drove 4.5 hours and wasn’t happy about that. Once in the room, we were unable to stream on the tv despite receptionist coming up to the room to assist us. Unfortunately we were unable to stream the entire stay. The first morning we went to the lobby for breakfast, the oatmeal being served wasn’t cooked and the oranges were old. The following days we decided to do breakfast at Bob Evans which was just a walk across the parking lot.

Good location Mattress needs updating. Breakfast was so sad. Too many people. Food on floor. Nothing left at 9:30.
