Grand Beach Resort Hotel

Beautiful beach access and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed the beach view and the beach.

The box breakfast was nothing special. It was okay. I prefer to have more options to choose from. I like to go downstairs to a breakfast room.

Enjoyed our time at Grand Beach Resort and the time spent exploring Traverse City area, We liked the beach view room and interesting breakfast menu delivered to the room but we messed up thinking the cards were for each person not for each day so today we only received one meal but that was our mistake. I would stay here again!

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We didn’t have a beach view, but we sat and enjoyed it each morning and evening. There are so many places to go, in and around Traverse City. It was a beautiful escape and we traveled and walked around the Old Mission Peninsula and the Leleanau

Rooms are dated and dark, but clean and well maintained. We stayed for two nights and on the second night there was a lot of problems with a very large party and lots of children shouting and running up and down the corridors. We called reception who spoke to them but we just had to sit it out until 10pm when they seemed to go to bed.

Cleanliness was okay, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. I noticed some hair here and there and ended up cleaning the toilet seat myself that evening. I asked the front desk for cleaning, and they promptly sent someone, which I appreciated. However, it still wasn’t cleaned as thoroughly as I expected. The bathroom is very old and dark, with dark, dated tiles, which may make it difficult to see everything that needs cleaning. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The private beach is absolutely breathtaking—truly the highlight of our stay! The pool and hot tub are in a somewhat unusual location, but we still enjoyed them. Overall, staff and beach are 10/10! The staff were kind, responsive, and genuinely tried to make our stay better. The hotel itself, however, is in need of significant updating and improvement in bathroom cleanliness.

Nice facilities. Clean and right on the beach

Breakfast is a cold box breakfast of your choosing delivered to door each morning of your stay.

The hotel was ok, nothing special. It was very clean but starting to show signs of age. The chairs in our room were from an old banquet hall, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling and the grout had been regrouted a couple too many times. At the price I paid per night, I expected more.

Hotel rooms were out dated, it wasn’t clean, and there was a weird odor throughout the whole hotel as well. The breakfast that the hotel provided was not up to standards the we paid for two nights was not worth it.
