Tamarack Lodge of Traverse City

This was my first time staying here and we loved it. The lodge is brand new and everything was extremely clean and well done. We were able to check in a few hours early and even got upgraded to a balcony room without asking. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all very nice and the grounds are beautiful right on the water. We'll definitely stay here again. The only thing I can think to say is that the parking is very limited currently and there's no breakfast but those are things they could always offer in the future. Overall 9/10

Awesome place everything was absolutely perfect

Great views and very nice balconies. Very clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Good coffee machine in main building. Quiet rooms. Good beach. Nice bathroom with separated tub and shower. Still constructing new facilities, which look like they might include more amenities. No breakfast offering. Separation of buildings was a slight hassle. No gym or workout area on site. Storage space, e.g., closets and drawers and cupboards could have been designed better in the space.

Good location, nice views, price same as all others on the beach, noisy room when slider door open and wind blowing, missed cleaning room 1st day of 3 day stay, had to get own towels that day..limited parking

Beautiful hotel. We got a king room w/o a lake view , still top notch, very clean and very pretty inside. Easy access the walkway along the beach with firepits to sit and watch sunset.My only hope is that someday they may offer a breakfast and return to opening the bar area.

Everything was so clean and nice

I loved the location and the view and the newer amenities. The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff was nice and accommodating. Looked like there was pee on the floor around the toilet upon arrival. No bottle water offered despite having a Keurig in the room, and even after going to front desk it is not offered for free. The hot tub was bath tub temperature and if jets were on the foam and fumes from the chlorine would make your eyes water just from being in the hot tub. The bed was overly firm and alittle lopsided so my back hurt. But overall a great experience and a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay on East Traverse Bay. New facilities, right on the water. Nice pool and Sauna area. No breakfast and 31 (road hotel is on), is incredibly busy, limiting the walkability a bit. Rooms were very clean and beautiful view onto the bay.

This property is beautiful and in a great location! Rooms were spotless and very modern with a rustic feel! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back!

Such a lovely property. Due to the age of the property I wasn’t expecting it to feel so clean with a fresh new cedar smell. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with high end linens. The outside area overlooking the bay was the most pleasant surprise. We took advantage of the gas fire pits on a cool morning. We were in a double queen room and it was perfect for our one night stay. So many nice details from the clothes steamer to the nice toiletries. I am a “hotel snob” and I was very impressed. Will definitely stay at Tamarack Lodge when back in Traverse City.
