Bayshore Resort

We loved how close to downtown Traverse City (Front St) possible to walk but they did have a shuttle that we enjoyed using. All of the staff were friendly! Breakfast provided, usually free hotel breakfast food. The beachfront area was very nice. Rooms were clean

Everything was top notch.

The room was fairly large but it was facing the indoor pool and had no natural light. This was a bit disappointing because I was not made aware of this before booking. It was hard to see what the weather was like (constantly changing in TC) and a bit depressing to have to use the room lights 24/7. The shuttle was an added bonus as they would take you anywhere downtown. The vicinity to the beach was also an added bonus as there was plenty of space to layout using the hotel chairs, loungers and towels. Breakfast options were plentiful and constantly filled throughout the morning. Overall, a great value for the amenities and distance from downtown.

Definitely go to the beach. There’s tables and chairs and loungers on a beautiful strip of soft sand beach. It was so peaceful to sit there and take in the view. And unlike other resorts people don’t reserve the loungers with towels etc then never return so there’s always seating available. Breakfast is “OK” cherry coffee is very nice. We found it very crowded the two days we were there. More tables could be added to the small dining room. Parking spaces are a little tight. TVs have streaming apps such as Netflix and HULU. The whole resort is kept clean, there’s beach towels and a Bo’s of beach toys for the kids! Would certainly visit again.

Room was so clean, bed was so comfortable and I slept really good. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was awesome each morning and loved all the different options. We had a balcony and used it, it had a lovely sitting area. I have stayed here several times and every time, it has been awesome! I would recommend highly!

Bathroom not the cleanest. A/C would not hold temp and was very noisy.

We had 3 rooms overlooking the pool. Unfortunately that caused a chlorine room in the rooms. The pool opens at 7:00 am. The family using the pool with small kids woke us up every morning of our stay. It would be nice for the pool to open at 8:30.

Our second year staying there for three nights each visit. Great location. Very good breakfast. Rear door exits directly onto the sandy beach with awesome views of the lake. We throughly enjoy this resort and will be back. The only slight negative is that there are no microwave ovens in the rooms. There is a microwave available on the lower level though. This is an unusual deficiency for an otherwise excellent resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Bayshore Resort! The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire facility was spotless and very well maintained. Our room was quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. We also loved that the private beach was just steps away, and it was only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The location couldn’t have been better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Bayshore Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Breakfast was good. The view was nice. The property had good character.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was spacious, well-appointed and clean. It has a very nice beachfront and was within walking distance of amazing restaurants in Traverse City. This was our first visit to TC and we loved it. No question that we’ll be back and look to stay at the Bayshore Resort again.
