Such a charming motel!

The Sierra Motel was amazing. We were able to check in early and get on our way to explore Traverse City and the coastline. The rooms were very nice and you could tell they do a great job of keeping everything up to date. The retro style was fun too.

I loved everything about it for my overnight solo trip, except that the AC is BEASTLY loud.

Had a quick stay here for one night, and was very impressed! Very clean, safe, and comfortable. I love what they've done with the place and the "retro" vibe! So cute. Would definitely stay here again!

Always clean and comfortable. We've sta I'm here several times. A bit loud traffic but location and attention to detail tops it.

Absolutely great place! Good location, so clean, and friendly staff.

Super cute, clean and cozy. I was worried about the street noise but we had the ac on and that ambient noise knocked us out! Best sleep we've had in a while! Thank you!

We loved everything about this place. It is a small room but so well designed it’s perfect for two people. My husband enjoyed speaking with the owner - he was very accommodating and attentive. Great place - would recommend to anyone - we will return if in the area again.

Great vintage motel that is clean, maintained and great location that’s close to downtown shopping, restaurants and the water. Renovated motel with a charming 60-70 vibe!
-
Great location, easy check in, plenty of parking, and super clean. Plus, we absolutely loved the mid-century decor! Would stay again.

The owners are wonderful, the couldn't be more helpful. We arrived early, they looked after our bags so we could drive in for the Cherry Festival in town, they even put our stupidly heavy bags in our upstairs room which they absolutely didn't need to do. Each and every interaction we had with them was great. The room itself was great, very comfortable, very safe. They had an amenities closet should we have needed anything and we slept really well, The property is exceptionally well maintained, the rooms beautifully decorated, it's kind of like the best of a Route 66 motel combined with the vibe of a boutique hotel. It's not a new building so don't expect 2020's style, flawless finishes, but it has, as I said, been immaculately remodelled and taken care of. I have absolutely no doubts that if we'd encountered a problem, the owners would have taken care of it. We loved the area so will surely be back sometime soon and this will be where we stay

The owners pay attention to the details! This renovated 1957 motel is a gem, filled with delightful retro touches and a comfy bed. Located close to town, we borrowed the bikes to get to Front St. shopping and enjoyed the neighborhood route. The owner recommended dinner at the Farm Club and Stella’s—both were exceptional!

Enjoyed our stay at the Sierra Motel. The location was great. It is updated and decorated very cute. Our only complaint is the proximity to the road which was noisy. The air conditioner was also very loud. Not great if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise very nice.
